@mikepat711 Very well said! I think V15 is the true unlock and adds the next level reasoning and awareness. They are doing something no one has done so it makes sense but sucks.

My current feelings after a few weeks of 14.3.1 is that it was pretty significantly over-hyped. There are hints of higher intelligence during certain edge scenarios, but in routine day-to-day driving, I find it less consistent than 14.2.2.5. This post is going to sound negative, but please remember that it’s still V14, and still mostly incredible. I am just judging it against the hype, and relative to 14.2.2.5.
There are a lot of “I’m going to go, OH FUCK, maybe I shouldn’t” moments that did not exist for me on 14.2.2.5 at all. Or “I’m going to go. AHH PROBABLY SHOULDNT HAVE” moments. Just not as polished. Also random moments where it’ll miscalculate deceleration curve and AEB it at the last second of a deceleration because it realizes it’s not slowing down fast enough. These are not super frequent, but frequent enough to notice it when it really never happened on 14.2.2.5.
Parking seems better I guess, but honestly not that much different. At first it felt a lot better, but after more testing has ended up feeling pretty much the same as 14.2.2.5. Sometimes it crushes it, sometimes it’s annoying af.
I think whatever was significant about 14.3 to make it “the final piece of the puzzle” either didn’t actually happen yet, or just exists under the hood today and isn’t visible to the customer yet.
Definitely eager to see how this series evolves with point releases.

@JCChristopher Yeah we need just a touch more reasoning and sentience so infinite loops don’t happen and stuff like that. Then they can use less remote people per car.
English

@DerekBFSD Yeah, I'm pretty confident is not entirely about safety, although that's important obviously. I think it's network, infrastructure, and the amount of people needed to support the vehicles right now.

Another one in Austin!

babe! wake up! 34 unsupervised robotaxis! 😂 $TSLA

@JCChristopher What do you feel like are the biggest limitations they are facing? I’ve seen connectivity with ride support and navigation being the biggest. Otherwise it seems so safe!
English

@JCChristopher I think we need to buckle up! They are gaining a lot of confidence with 14.3!

Can we have an option to download the full quality Dashcam Clips? I understand for quickly sharing the low quality ones are fine - but sometimes that bit of extra detail makes a difference.

@SSilwanis24 Yeah I could really do some cool stuff with 10 mph and twice as large of a radius!

@DerekBFSD Will never get tired of this 🤣🤣 gotta do this more myself. Just wish the geofence was a bit bigger so I can have it continuously move instead of stopping.

I don’t have a camera on the roof but that would be an awesome idea! And I don’t wave or anything. I smile or wave only if someone starts staring at me. Most of the people in Spokane WA have never seen a driverless car and many have not heard of them because we are so far North. That’s my theory at least.
English

@DerekBFSD It's funny how you've had lots of people notice there was nobody driving your car, but @AIDRIVR
hardly had anyone notice.
Do you have a camera on your roof, or were you waving at people, or could it just be a regional difference?
English

@DerekBFSD It’s funny the reactions that you get. Have they never see remote control cars? The difference is this one costs more than $40,000.
English

@RtaxiTracker That is awesome to hear! What time are they stopping in the evening then?

Influencers.
PLEASE stop this shit.
I know it makes you feel like you are helping but you aren't. We never "check our apps" and have it

Big wave of FSD V14.3.2 just went out. Check your Tesla app.

@LSourcecoder No the summon mode, while unified with 14.3, doesn’t have modes. It is limited to 6mph but is a good blend of cautious and assertive when needed!
English

@DerekBFSD Does the Summon behavior change with the driving mode? (Hurry, Standard, etc)

It’s hard to understand what the other 39% are thinking.
Once you drive a Tesla, it’s like driving an all-seeing sensor with a super computer behind the scenes doing all the decision making, driving and navigation. Also, you never have to go to a gas station.

I put FSD 14.3 through some road closure testing with Bloomsday happening in Spokane! Overall fairly good reaction and reasoning. but it could still look farther ahead and decide to turn earlier! @Tesla @aelluswamy @Tesla_AI
