Back when I was working on Sweet Nibbles, I put together a quick brief for some contractors for the Steam page assets (I ended up doing all of these myself to save money). I'm posting this to share some insight that may help indie devs put together a brief to communicate with their contractors. This was still early on, and the project was moving quickly. It ended up draining me with how fast I was moving and how many plates I was spinning. Although it wasn't finished, I learned a lot from this project.

Okay but this is officially the best hiring story ever. A company in Mexico rescued an orange stray cat and decided not only to keep him… but to hire him.
They named him Engineer Miauricio and gave him the title of Emotional Support Director. His responsibilities include smiling at coworkers, gently meowing, and walking around the office making everyone’s day better.

Don't sleep on Data Assets in UE.
They allow you to separate your data from your blueprints and gameplay logic, which keeps your project clean and makes it super easy to create variants of objects.

Interesting technique - build up the ear using Curves with depth, adjust the depth (Alt+S per Vertex), convert to meshes, adjust a bit in Sculpt mode (mostly with the Draw, Grab and Smooth brush). Not how I would normally sculpt an ear, but good to have another way. #Blender #B3D

Had the pleasure of doing some concept work for Dan Trachtenberg's 'Predator Badlands'. Which was awesome as 'Predator' is in my top 5 films of all time!
One early task involved concepting the new super powerloader. Hats off to Fausto DeMartini for modelling this up from the sketch!
Dan did a great job on the movie, and ill share more down the line...
