Most of the issues in the discourse is people not being able to see any good in what Amorim was doing, and therefore, thinking anything was better.
The results have been better.
But most of the play style improvements have degraded.
The press is worse, the possession is worse, the shot creation is worse.

I agree. He can do more. But with what he's done compared to who he replaced, he's excelled. When we ask you evidence of Amorim's, you only are able to show potential on graphs over a 12 game period instead of over his 14 months of abject failure. Potential is not evidence at the highest level. Results are 🤝

@exfootballfan My friend, Carrick faced Arteta twice, won home and away. He nearly won Iraola's side at the Vitality stadium with Harry's red card a key part of why drew that game. Hope that's reasonable enough as these are facts.

Look at the squad values of the club and have some respect for Andoni Iraola. The club sold a lot of good players they had but Iraola is still using the squad he has.
The actual talk is if Iraola can take such a Bournemouth squad to 6th from 9th last season, he will do wonders with United’s squad.
Manchester United’s squad value is very low compared to other big teams in the EPL but it’s higher than that of Bournemouth and this should tell you that Iraola would do more than Carrick with his experience.

If Michael Carrick didn’t have Manchester United nostalgia attached to his name, would people rate him above managers like;
• Daniel Farke (Leeds coach)
• Rob Edwards (Wolves coach)
• Michael Jackson (Burnley Coach)
These three are Michael Carrick Level of coaching and there’s no difference apart from level of quality players at disposal.
Giving Carrick the job is like giving Daniel Farke the job or even Michael Jackson cause he got champions league spot.
They don’t have what it takes to go to the next level and same with Carrick. They are mid tier managers/coach just like Carrick and that will always be their level.
