Today, my husband received a phone call from a blocked number. The caller was Baron Coleman. My husband had no idea who was calling or why. Baron proceeded to threaten legal action against my husband’s business over social media posts that I had made—posts my husband had absolutely nothing to do with. Before I go any further, I want to acknowledge something. Looking back, I may not have used the best judgment with my post. My intention was to make a point. After Baron publicly talked about having pictures of Charlie’s children, I wanted him to understand how that might feel from the other side. In hindsight, it was not the best way to make that point, and I apologize for that. The reason I spoke up in the first place is because I know firsthand what it is like to lose a spouse. After 17 years of marriage, I lost my husband to cancer. For those 17 years, I had been a stay-at-home mom raising our four children. There was no life insurance and no financial safety net. Overnight, everything changed. I suddenly found myself grieving the loss of my husband while trying to figure out how to provide for four children on my own. I had to go right back to work because I had no other choice. Losing a parent is devastating for a child, and the years that followed were not easy for any of us. We faced grief, financial hardship, mistakes, and difficult seasons as we learned how to navigate a life none of us had chosen. My two youngest children struggled with addiction and legal issues along the way. That is not something I hide from because it is part of our family’s story. What I am proud of is that we kept going. We survived and They are clean. Watching what was being said about Erika Kirk struck a nerve with me. As a widow myself, I felt compelled to speak up and offer support. During the call, Baron brought up my adult children’s past struggles and legal issues. He then told my husband that if I removed the post, he would not go after my children. I took the post down immediately because I believed that would be the end of the matter. Instead, he has since chosen to make my children and our family’s hardships part of a public discussion. He’s not a man of his word. Baron now claims my husband was horrified and embarrassed by me. That is simply not true. My husband was confused as to why a stranger was calling him from a blocked number and threatening his business over something that had nothing to do with him. I have nothing to hide. My family’s story includes loss, hardship, and mistakes made along the way, but it also includes perseverance, faith, and raising four children after one of the hardest things a family can endure. I won’t pretend my family is perfect. Like many families who have endured profound loss, we have faced challenges and made mistakes. But I refuse to be ashamed of surviving them, especially at the hands of someone who makes a living attacking and bullying people online. I had no intention of saying anything publicly until Baron chose to post his version of events. I know no one at Turning Point USA. They are not involved in this. I simply admired Charlie Kirk, and it disgusts me to see what is being done with his legacy. The issue is that this group is quick to criticize and attack others, yet when faced with equivalent scrutiny or a measured response, they immediately adopt the role of victim and express moral outrage. At the same time, they appear to have no qualms about the prolonged harassment and attacks directed at Erika’s family and friends. This selective application of standards reveals a clear inconsistency in their approach to discourse and accountability.

Actually, it’s because my podcast has been bringing in massive numbers of young women and young moms for years. The transition away from “Young Women’s Leadership Summit” started long before Charlie passed away. Charlie was fully aware of it and agreed it needed to happen because the conference had outgrown the name. The audience isn’t just young women anymore, it’s American women. As for understanding our audience, I’d worry less about ours and more about the fact that yours seems to consist primarily of leftists hate-watching and Russian bots. By the way, how did Putin taste?

This is entirely false! I just sat in a room for 3 days with thousands of young women. Don't get it twisted this conference is still very young! I spoke to many at TPUSA about the name change, and the response was consistent: they want the conference to be multi-generational in focus, with older women coming alongside to teach and build up the younger generations. As is biblically modeled in Titus. Charlie was all about legacy building and this is a great step towards his dreams and goals.
Candace Owens@RealCandaceO

Notice it’s no longer called the “young” women’s leadership summit? Because they’ve completely lost the youth since Charlie’s passing. This is RNC-lite. It’s now the Hags-Nagging summit with donors occupying speaking slots to lecture women about how it’s “biblical” to not question anything. Turning Point no longer has anything to do with Charlie Kirk and the whole world knows it— including them. No spark. No energy. No debate. Frankly, stale.

hey @Destroyer4547 , just unblocked you to ask a really quick question: Did your husband really join you in judging the photos from the 5 year old (long-deleted) only fans account that my ex abuser ran? Nevermind. I’ll just ask him myself. I have his number. While we’re on the topic, the abuser in question made $40,000 on that account in the 2 months that it was up. And everybody who kept up with my TikTok account in that era knows exactly who he is. I was generously allowed to have $5,000. The reason I deleted it so quickly is because I never wanted to do it in the first place- definitely not because it “didn’t take off” 😂 Incase nobody has told you today, you’re scum of the earth 🫶🏼

This is how you build a case. I’m not sure they realize what they are doing.

@VelvetGavel This goes beyond the original post into potential retaliatory harassment, especially combined with the blocked call to my husband's business. In our state there are state laws on harassing communications and threatening a business.

@Destroyer4547 Online commentary is one thing. Calling your home making threats is crossing a line. It's always worth asking legal aid regarding recourses but I would encourage filing a report to keep on record, and advising Baron to never call your home again.

You people have been acting like some type of vigilantes. You have to be more self aware. His daughter is an adult now and she covered the face of the already public photo she posted.Candace doxxed Charlie’s little girl’s name, I had no idea what it was until she told everyone. Also, her body’s physical characteristics were discussed on X. The other girl is an adult and had the face blocked out, as well. I think family just needs to be off limits but Erika’s children have been talked about relentlessly on here for 8 months. Maybe a do over is in order if it will be stuck to.

I keep seeing people argue that the video released yesterday was actually from ActCon 2023 event. I went looking. I cannot find a single photo or video from that event with that same red Building the Machine backdrop. Not one. Can you? Anyone?
