@DevRelLewis Thank you, I really appreciate that. I’ve been in tech for about 3 to 4 years now, and constantly having to prove myself and fight for a place in it has been exhausting. I’m trying not to give up, but lately it’s been hard not to question if this path is still meant for me.

@Devchicajas Comes with the environment but stay the course and adjust where you see gaps. If you’re seeing something that’s off ask whether it’s you or THEM. Then change hat needs changing.

Today in Chicago I’ll be doing a presentation on the ECE tool for educators I built at InterAct conference. This will be my first public talk in tech, LFG.

Needed a walk and picked up kid early because he threw up.

💯 Took me 3 years and I’m in there now but I was this guy until I started to really lock in and not just say I’m locked in. @LawrenceDCodes is the truth!

Picked him up early because he fell in a puddle. Showered him and put him back to work. The little developer at work!

Just spent two hours interviewing at a start up in Belgium for them to give me 40k a year, with “benefits”. This was the final interview btw. They raised 2mil. The benefit: young & dynamic team. Moving on, got 5 more interviews next week, something will land soon👀

I drive carefully because I don’t want to get in an accident and someone drives by and says “you can’t park there”.

This is my first project I’ve been brought on where I am ALONE 😬😮‍💨 Ima do my best to ask questions and over deliver.

Update on my role as a ai system dev in the Microsoft environment. My manager just told me to keep up the good work. I feel like I’m actually doing good things even though so much is so new and I’m figuring it out as I go. Translation: WHATS EVEN HAPPENING 😂

The creator is one punch man just passed away at 42. Some are saying the crazy work ethic of animators plays a role in his early passing. I’m tired from trying to debug and investigate. Maybe I should heed the warning and take a break.
