it's important to start every day by petting your cat's little head and telling them that they're doing a great job of being a cat, they value this kind of feedback

@stowball @JamesSLock It allows some abstraction with colour names and sizing that allows for consistency at least. Good if you have a big development team. Apart from that 🤷 I'd personally prefer just to write the CSS

@JamesSLock No, because classes like that still give you the benefit of all the things classes can do that inline styles can't

I think Tailwind shot itself in the foot early on with its custom, shorthand class name APIs because now for each new CSS feature, it has to invent something new. If they'd have literally just 1:1 mapped CSS properties, you'd get the benefit of atomic *and* knowing CSS
