STOP submitting your product to 300 directories nobody opens. Indie Chains is a curated network where indie builders grow by helping each other get relevant mentions on validated sites. You only need one live site in production to get started. Everyone grows faster because the collaboration is intentional, not spammy. No cold outreach. No random link swaps. No dead directories. Founder access is open at $1/month. indiechains.com

one of the biggest SaaS growth lessons I’ve learned recently: growing from $0 to $154k MRR wasn’t about building more features, it was about mastering distribution. A few takeaways from video: > Position your product so people can explain it in one sentence. > Go where your users already are (Reddit, GitHub, niche communities), not just X. > Help first, promote second. Useful comments often outperform promotional posts. > Monitor competitor complaints they’re full of high-intent customers looking for alternatives. > Founder stories build trust better than constant product updates. > If you’re open source, treat it as a distribution strategy, not just a development model. A great product is essential, but without distribution, it’s invisible.

Postiz reached $154k MRR! I can't say it was easy. One of the things that made that happen was the distribution (marketing) and positioning. I shared most of the marketing tactics I have used, and I think they can give you some ideas for your startup. I mostly talk tactically, which means I don't say "post five times per day" without telling you what to post, so I think it can enrich your knowledge. I share my steps from: $0 -> $3k MRR $3k -> $12k MRR $12k -> $21k MRR $21k MRR -> $154k MRR

While Claude Code works in the background, I'm cutting out images pulled from different inspirations. Here I'd asked Nano Banana to generate assets in the style of my app, which is why it literally recreated the Figma interface 😅) Here's a timelapse of me using the pen tool!

Has anyone watched the Silo TV series (TV) first and then read the books? 1. Is it worth it in this order? 2. Does the general rule (books >> TV) apply?

Devlog v1.1.0 (v2) of my app I @ShipOrDie_ in 14 days. While Claude Code codes for me.. I draw my assets with the pen tool in Figma. so now I've been promoted to designer of my app. 😇

"I'll never fail, I'll only learn." That's the best mindset 😎
yusuf@yusuf_sdev

update on saas: today I’ve deployed it and sent it for testing not random tester but the actual person from that field who is using other messy software already I was not building it until @DevTenta said me to go for it so thanks for that was worried about many things like I’ll probably fail but “I’ll never fail, I’ll only learn” that’s my mindset if this not worked then I’ll move to the next but atleast I’ll be proud of myself that I’ve built something & already learned too many things from it. If you are also building something then just do it. learn from your mistakes and improve it. keep shipping

I made a game where giant snail named Bob hunts you 😬 Walking in real life keeps you ahead. You don't want to know what happens if he catches you 😅 It's called SnailWalk.app 🐌 Bob's already moving. Are you?

Yeah, I see that too. I think the worst thing is trying to play like Europe. As South Americans, we've always had our own style of football, and that's when we've been the most successful. Luckily, here in Argentina, kids still playing football is super common. There are football pitches everywhere.

I see some points to explain this: - They are selecting kids by height/strength instead of skills because Europe likes this. - We have way less kids playing in the streets (too much violence) - Computers/cell phones are getting kids attention before football - To become a football player in Brazil you need the contacts, the right agent I tried myself being a football player, but without an agent you go nowhere.

Just hit $400 MRR with AdaptlyPost 🎉 Very slow growth, but fully organic, with very low churn (<10%).

Launched 2 apps this year. Finally I'm moving forward. I don't pretend to launch more apps soon, I want to work hard on these 2 for now. I built both for me, but I'm sure there are more people like me outta there who can benefit from what I'm building. Now it's time to improve the products and play the marketing game. So much to learn. I'm excited for the upcoming months!
