OMG. I HAVE TO CRY. MY FIRST SALE EVER 🎉 Not a BIG one, but still HUGE! Saturdays used to mean pushing to production. Today? Pulling revenue from it. 🥹

@GeronimoMorgans Prove me wrong but victory isn’t what we need tonight, but some more goals to increase the GD. Right?

Pep said he selected the team with Burnley’s strengths in mind, and fair enough, I respect that. But I’m not entirely sold on the idea that Nico G wouldn’t have helped nullify those exact strengths, especially considering the last time we faced Burnley and dismantled them 5-1, he was the absolute heartbeat of that midfield. He was instrumental that day. That said, Pep evidently knows better than any of us and his reasoning will have far more tactical depth than what’s visible on the surface. Fingers crossed we get the win tonight, because that’s all that matters for us.

“This is software design, using markdown as the programming language and human judgment as the runtime.” An incredible explanation! And speaking about markdown, there are many gems out there. Right, @pero_bits?
Garry Tan@garrytan

I found myself explaining this to people over and over again at YC today because I think most knowledge work will increasingly be encoded in markdown skills (fat skills) that work hand in hand with deterministic code written specifically to be called by agents (fat code)

@MPlegas Pricing changes work much better when the upgrade is tied to a clear shift in value. If that boundary isn’t obvious, users just stay in the free tier even if the product is good.

🌀 Using your product to optimise the product itself is a challenge on its own. I ran Tierly on Tierly's pricing. The result? A complete overhaul. ❌ The problem → Free analysis delivered almost everything. No reason to upgrade. Classic gating mistake. The fix involved real pricing engineering: ⊛ Gate the resolution, not the analysis ↳ Show WHERE pricing breaks, lock HOW to fix it ⊛ Anchoring via a Pricing Audit tier (coming soon) ↳ At €149, it makes €20 Pro feel like a steal ⊛ Decoy effect ↳ Starter at €5/analysis vs Pro at €4/analysis with strategic insights on top. The "cheaper" option is actually worse value, nudging you toward Pro ⊛ Loss aversion ↳ Blurred fixes create upgrade pull, not upgrade walls A pricing consultant charges 30x more for what Tierly gives for €20. One-time. No expiry. 🩵 Founding member pricing is live with limited spots!

New client has no CI/CD, you just git pull directly on the server and hope for the best. I broke production so fast I impressed myself!

@joncphillips It sounds painful and inevitable, and it is. We should go after model agnostic assets liek the ones you've mentioned!

Your audience is one thing a model update cannot touch. I’ve been saying this for years and I’m more convinced of it now than I’ve ever been. I mean, community is the most underrated moat in software right now. It’s slow af to build and it’s impossible to fake, and it has nothing to do with your tech stack or your pricing page. That’s exactly why it works. The real question isn’t whether AI will disrupt your product. It will. OpenAI and Anthropic’s engineers are probably building something right now that will make a few hundred more startups irrelevant by next month. The question is whether you built anything underneath your product that survives when that inevitably happens. Infrastructure, proprietary data or workflows, personal brand, distribution, community. Those are all things a model update cannot replicate overnight. If your entire business sits above all those layers, every new model release is an existential threat. If you just built a few feature, wrapped it in a landing page, and assumed that was enough, it’s not anymore.

🙌 I’m coming back to this after almost 3 months, in case new developments have been made. Can we integrate Claude Skills into an app? I’m thinking of something like an API endpoint: provide context --> get an output. I know skills are meant to execute locally, but are we close to such a capability (if not already there)?

🥶 First week, after several months, I spent only 2 hours on the product. Even Claude felt sorry for keeping the credits intact. Never mind. On to the next one!

@MPlegas 100%!! The algorithms in various social media don't help either cause naturally I see more AI related content too... It makes me wonder how much people do actually realise is AI UGC too 😂

That is probably spot on 🎯 Sometimes I forget the bubble that we're in... I spoke to a recruiter yesterday and... They had no idea what Claude is, or any other LLM apart from ChatGPT. They hadn't even realised that we have left the prompt and copy-paste era days of coding 🤯 I continuously oscillate between we are in a bubble and we are still early and I cannot shake that feeling 🫠
Ken@AtSynct

@Aevmorfop I bet if you asked 20 random people at the airport what "Claude" was ... at least 17 of them would think you were talking about a human being, not an LLM.

Finished 10th on PH, which is more than I had hoped for 🥳 That means Snapstick gets exposure in the Product Hunt newsletter, which is great! Thank you all for taking part in making that happen. Now back to shitposting, but first: hang out with the family. Happy Easter 🐣🐰
Mads@madsmadsdk

Oooh guys, Snapstick is neck and neck with OpenBox in 10th! 😱 They actually just surpassed Snapstick for 9th spot as of writing, but only one point separates us. There’s 80 minutes to vote still, help me clutch 9th if you haven’t voted yet 🙏🏻 Thank you so much!
