The regime in Iran continues to murder the young in Iran. No outrage from the human rights movement. No college protests. No NYT coverage. No posts from Obama, Ben Rhodes, AOC or Bernie Sanders. Just daily murders: endlessly, mercilessly and terribly.

This morning, the Islamic Republic executed Ehsan Afrashteh. Ehsan was arrested in 2024 on false espionage charges and spent months in solitary confinement, where he was tortured into making false confessions. The regime's machine of killing won't stop until it's gone.

I find it insane that people proudly declare, "I support Israel's right to exist," as though existence itself is a privilege that must be debated or granted. Do you ever hear anyone say they support France's right to exist? Japan's? America's? Any other nation on Earth? No. Because no country besides @Israel is forced to justify its existence to the world. When politicians make this statement, people applaud them like they just made some brave moral statement. They didn't. They stated something so basic it should never have to be said in the first place. @realDonaldTrump @POTUS @DAGToddBlanche @ASGWoodward @TheJusticeDept @marcorubio @SecRubio @StateDept @yechielleiter @IsraelinUSA @Israel @netanyahu

So why and how did millions of Americans begin to express hatred for Israel and, albeit more subtly, the Jews who support it? There are four converging fronts in this perfect storm: victorhanson.com/the-four-horse…

Horrendous. I want to be sick. Full interviews of Palestinian terrorists confessing what they did to Israelis. I won’t quote any of it, you’ll just have to watch and listen for yourself. This should be shared everywhere.

All fake. He gave the Iranian regime billions for terror abroad, missiles later fired at civilians, and genocide in Syria. He allowed the regime to preserve its enrichment capacity for later. He turned his back on pro-democracy protesters. Obama is the reason we had to go to war.
Marco Foster@MarcoFoster_

President Obama on Iran: “We pulled it off without firing a missile. We got 97% of their enriched uranium out. There’s no dispute that it worked and we didn’t have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the Strait of Hormuz”

There was no genocide. There was no famine. And there are no rape dogs. But on October 7, 2023 Hamas and other Palestinian raiders launched a war with mass rape and murder. Many filmed their atrocities. Here is a conclusive report documenting that horror. …1-400e-ae14-65ae0400675b.filesusr.com/ugd/aab121_882…

Talk about evil: two young girls were running for their lives while a terrorist chased them down like prey. He shot the first girl in the back as she desperately tried to escape. The second froze, turned around, and begged him not to kill her. He executed her anyway without the slightest hesitation. This is what Gazan terrorists did on October 7th.

Confirmed: rapists, cowards and vile deviants. Volumes of incontrovertible evidence of the depravity of Hamas. NYT preemptively dropped a grotesque op-ed with sources linked to Hamas for a beachhead of “bothsiderism” Hamas defenders.

Everyone is focused on whether Israel can prevail in a defamation suit against the NYT in American courts. That's the wrong question. Because in the last 24 hours, the NYT didn't just stand by the piece — they made specific, affirmative claims about their editorial process. That the column was "extensively fact-checked" and that "independent experts" were consulted throughout. Those statements will matter a lot in a court of law. When you publicly claim your editorial process met a specific standard, you've just put your internal communications directly at issue. Who were the independent experts? What did they say about the specific claims? What did editors know, and when did they know it? The NYT has essentially told us what documents exist. Also, they still haven't responded to former PM Olmert's accusation that Kristof directly misrepresented his words to validate the column's allegations. Israel doesn't "need" to win this case. The lawsuit is just how you get to the truth
Eitan Fischberger@EFischberger

I love this move, despite the obvious jurisdictional hurdles it will face. The strategic value of Israel's NYT lawsuit has nothing to do with winning. It's about discovery, if they can somehow get to that point — the NYT's internal emails about how this piece was vetted, what they knew about Euro-Med's Hamas ties, and what doubts existed internally. All of that becomes potentially public. The lawsuit is just how you get there.

The New York Times hates Jews so much it's almost comical. Part of it is jealousy of the Washington Post: writers for the Post get to be openly Qatari, whereas Times writers have to settle for dipshittery about rape dogs. But there's also just mediocre pedestrian antisemitism.

How Kristof chose to start his dog rape piece. Not even trying to be clever about it—he wrote the piece is to fight fire with fire. The report on Gazans’ rapes and torture of Israelis—and their family dogs—was coming out and The Times had to counter it with something fantastic.

No no no no. It's not that the suddenly came up with the story to deflect attention from the Hamas sexual assault story. It's that since 10/7, a network of anti-Israel propagandists, including Euro Med monitor, has been pushing various phony stories of sexual assault re Israel (raping random Palestinians in Gaza for example, though that story seems to have faded away for lack of even any even pretend victim willing to say so) to deflect attention from Hamas's sexual crimes, make Israel look like it's as bad or worse than Hamas, and get Israel put on some list of countries that use sexual assault as a political weapon. These groups almost certainly fed the story to Kristof. This is common. A ridiculous % of op-ed content, and even investigative news stories, is fed to journalists by biased interest groups, though not usually ones that serve as mouthpieces for terrorist groups like Euro Med monitor. So Kristof wrote the story. Meanwhile, the civil society group in Israel was shopping its pending report to leading newspapers all over the world. The Times wasn't interested, but in its lack of interest knew the report was coming out soon. Did they know the exact day, and time Kristof's column for the day before? You dismiss the possibility, but why? There are no willful anti-Israel editors at the Times? Even if they didn't know the exact day when they chose to publish Kristof's column now, they *at least* knew it would come the same time, and chose to publish that column, and not have a word about the Israeli report, despite it being covered in other leading papers around the world (Daily Mail, Globe and Mail, Le Monde, The Australian, to name a few). You think all that is pure coincidence?
Dilan Esper@dilanesper

just a general point is that if you are an ideologue and don't work in media yourself, the chances are you are routinely exposed to absolutely crazy and ignorant takes about how the media works. that's really a driver of so many of the media bias narratives.

NYT is heightening the scandal -- instead of minimizing Kristof's bogus claims by asserting it was merely an opinion column, here the NYT is taking full ownership of every part of the story. But it still boils down to something very simple: the NYT published a bunch of unverifiable claims by Hamas supporters with a long track record of lying and making up atrocity stories.

Hamas admitted in a new "martyr" notice that Ahmed Al-Talbani was a commander and MEDIC—the same ones that "reported" in minutes on civilians killed in Gaza. He is the NINTH medical worker outed as a combatant, another example of Hamas' all encompassing human shield strategy. 1/

Gas prices are up and people are losing their minds. Iran doesn’t have a long range nuclear capable missile yet. They can within 5 years. They don’t even need to launch it. They just need to have it, and they completely control us. You’ve seen what a regime like this does with a shipping lane. Think about what they do with a missile that can reach New York. Pay the extra $1.70. Gladly.
