You are a trooper!! Great job. The Pamphlet acknowledges that twins, 3 kids, and other instances make No Strollers tough. As I have no personal experience in your situation I cannot advise. I did however pray for twins specifically so I could No Stroller them and be able to respond to this common criticism of my pov but alas it was not in the cards.

The stroller debates are really just highlighting different lifestyles. “Just make your kids walk!” The point of this walk was for Mama to get some exercise, so… “My wagon was a waste of money because I never use it.” I’m guessing you don’t have a zoo membership.

Caster Semenya only appears to be an elite athlete because Caster Semenya is a male who has been misclassified as female. Many thousands of males would appear to be elite athletes if they were classified into the female category. This does not mean those thousands of males would or should be elite athletes if they were classified into the male category. There is precisely no reason to believe that these males would or should be able to keep up with elite males. Trying to argue or prove that individuals like Caster Semenya do not have male advantage because they do not put in elite male track times is bizarre. I have no idea where this leap of non-logic comes from or why sensible people cannot see the glaring gaps in the premise. And there is even less reason to argue that Semenya et al must be female because they don't run like elite males. This is clearly a batshit assertion. (Reposted as a standalone)

@HPluckrose I aspired to be crunchy, and got loads of fancy wraps. In retrospect, it was so performative. 6 yards of fabric in a wet country isn’t practical 🤣 plus it was sweaty. I had 3 under 2 so carrying was necessary. But for my last baby I only used a clip on one for hikes.

Babywearing is a hassle & strollers are also for toddlers. I started every day with a three mile walk to blow the cobwebs away & set me up to be patient & positive all day. Three times a week I had to walk 6 miles a day. Most days I had to carry shopping. Strollers are a blessing

The Olympics are where we send our best to compete. Imane isn't cheating, she's doing what everyone else have been doing since forever.

The official "Gender Critical" position now is that men can be born with vaginas and even give birth. It's kinda like the one drop rule really... if you have even a tiny bit of intersexness going on you're a man. Doesn't matter if you've been a woman your entire life.

Can anyone recommend me a good book either about or set in medieval Europe? Alternate history, non-fiction, and historical fiction are all welcome. I get these obsessions with different historical periods, and right now I’m stuck in the Middle Ages, having already explored WWII, the USSR under Stalin and into the Kruschev thaw, the American Civil War, and the Russian revolution. I know that’s not a long list, but I’ve read fairly exhaustively on each subject over the course of three or four years. I’d appreciate any suggestions, including books written in the medieval period, provided there’s an English translation.
