This is exactly what AOC did when she went to the Met Gala, unmasked at the height of COVID. She desperately wanted to go but knew that having teams of masked servants dress her and her boyfriend and attend to them so that they could mix with celebrities at a gluttonous gala (which is what happened) would conflict a bit with her political brand. So she cynically slapped on a "Tax the Rich" label to her designer gown, knowing that enough of her fans would see this as some sort of rebellious act (as if standard left-liberal political clichés like that would offend the Hollywood and NYC fashion liberals who rule the Gala). Then, when some people complained, she strongly suggested that they were racists because she and her designer were both women of color and that's what people were really upset about.

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem confirms a shooting this morning at a detention center for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Dallas, Texas, with local media reporting that the shooter targeted detainees, resulting in several injured and possibly killed. The shooter, identified as a white male, has been found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot on a nearby roof across from the ICE Facility.

Preliminary indication is that we had an oxygen/fuel leak in the cavity above the ship engine firewall that was large enough to build pressure in excess of the vent capacity. Apart from obviously double-checking for leaks, we will add fire suppression to that volume and probably increase vent area. Nothing so far suggests pushing next launch past next month.

Cannabis is a silent epidemic wreaking havoc on the American family. A friend brought some of these over and I drank two around 8pm. My body completely shut down and I slept from 9pm until 10am. I slept through Sunday Mass. How is this legal, with such innocent packaging?

Tax revenue is 50% below proportional potential with between 200m - 600m a year shy. Revenue barely scraped the bottom of Illinois own projections. IL has the second lowest rev per capita. I wonder why?
