@assassinrk42 @camofclass @taffy_elsewhere @TheManlet_King I don't have a God, but I'm eager to learn more about why life exists at all. You call me a hypocrite, then I ask you some questions, which you expertly dodge. I'm not against religion, in fact I think churches offer something positive to society, like what you describe here.

@DionvdR @camofclass @taffy_elsewhere @TheManlet_King Where is your god at? There are people being given charity finding refuge in Catholic Churches and being fed by them as well. Catholic Churches in Palestine were bombed and in the West Bank we get raided. And as it’s my church it’s also my duty to help.

@assassinrk42 @camofclass @taffy_elsewhere @TheManlet_King That something is complex isn't proof of a God. Not a single religion on earth is 100% true, they're all man-made and there's still children dying prematurely in the womb, dying of cancer (100k+ each year), or killed during wars. So where is that all-loving God of yours?

@Nonso99_ @camofclass @taffy_elsewhere @TheManlet_King I'm saying I don't think God intervenes if he exists, but it's also difficult to believe that everything that keeps our bodies working is a result of evolution. It's too complex and working perfectly together in most cases. What's wrong about this mentality?

@camofclass @taffy_elsewhere @TheManlet_King I'm not a believer in God, but I don't think it's unlikely that something created the universe and everything in it, but doesn't intervene in people's lives. As a PhD Biologist, wouldn't you say the biological processes in our bodies are too advanced to have simply evolved?

@DionvdR @__danso_ @MrFlossMode @_OKJ__ @Paulie_dadof4 Because there's no evidence for them yet. While I'd agree that it's by far the most plausible of the bunch, we still haven't found any signs of intelligent life outside of earth. Until that happens, you can't say for certain that it exists.

It’s so cathartic hearing someone talk honestly about 9/11. A paper passport fell from an exploding plane. And somehow they knew, even in crowded New York City, that it was NOT someone dropping it on the street, or even a passenger, it was the high jacker and it also showed what country did it. It’s so unbelievably stupid, and so is ALL of it, that I grieved over learning this stuff. I felt anger, guilt, bargaining, shame, but then said “now what?” and realized I can just live a great life. But we all have to go thru this. To face the obvious and insane truth of our history will suck for a bit but it’s how you get that anxiety out of your chest like something is always wrong. Facing it allows you to feel joy again like when you were a kid. “They” all get what’s coming to them. It’s already done. No escape. Your job is to face the truth, and then be grateful for this beautiful world we live in and all the others we can spend time with. Good work @RealCandaceO you’re doin great kid
