I applied for disability insurance as an intern. All of them turned me down because I am disabled, ignoring that I was in an ACGME residency. They refused, even when I requested terms that it would only apply to any new disability. @DocsWith @Disabled_Docs #DocsWithDisabilities

I’ve been advised to lock in disability insurance before I start the process of freezing my eggs since that will make the cost go up. But, sure, go on and tell me how we are “making strides” re supporting women in medicine.
