🎬 BBC-Commissioned Gaza Documentary Wins BAFTA After Network Refused to Air It
“Gaza: Doctors Under Attack” — a documentary about Israeli strikes on Palestinian health workers — won the BAFTA award for best current affairs program Sunday, despite the BBC refusing to broadcast the film it commissioned, citing “impartiality concerns.”
Channel 4 ultimately aired the documentary after the BBC dropped it. Director Ramita Navai used her acceptance speech to call out the decision.

Yeah this is an extremely reasonable ask. Like “hey, so we now know that the Biden admin wasn’t actually working tirelessly to stop a genocide, can we get some answers as to why we were told that they were?” Not sure why asking for accountability from elected officials is wrong.
