Hope to have a new Behind the Code next week.
This one has been a challenge. Research wasn't too bad, but the frustration of writing a script, recording a narration, making the visuals, putting it together, pressing play, and saying, "this... is too complicated" is real. Rebuild

@DisplacedGamers idk if im in a different a/b test than you, but there has been a <20 view video as the third recommendation in my side panel for at least the last 6 months. Just that 1 slot, always with the lowbie video. Seems healthy for the ecosystem. The new must displace the old.

I've noticed that YouTube has started recommending videos from very small channels at the end of a video I just watched. Three thumbnails pop up - two from subscribed channels + one from a small yet subject-relevant channel.
That's cool. I hope it helps content creators break-in

Unfortunately, I am convinced that the belt is the wrong size and will have to get another one. I don’t want to put any additional wear and tear on the mechanics, so I will hold off.

@GameSack Yes, although I’ll also “patch” parts of the script and re-record later if video production demands different visuals or better pacing.
(And of course it bothers me if I don’t get the levels of different recordings to at least be in the ballpark of each other.)

Ok. Back at it after a week away.
Belt 3 of 3 in place for tape counter.
The ejection dampening cylinder… thing fell out while working on it a couple of weeks ago. Had to unscrew the mech and get it back into place without the belts slipping off the pulleys. Whew.
