To recap. Volleyball teams like Boise State are forfeiting against another team they played against multiple times in previous seasons that may or may not include a transgender athlete who may or may not have transitioned early and also played girls volleyball in high school.

This is something liberals like me need to grapple with. I support tolerance and inclusion. But lots of people do not. I was convinced we were on winning side of these issues politically a decade ago but not sure now. Look at the impact of Trump’s transphobic ads. They worked.

Look, the Harris campaign made a huge push for center-right voters. You could blame this loss on the left if the strategy worked and they pulled in a ton of “moderates” at the expense of losing progressives. That’s not what happened though. They alienated the left for *nothing*
