As a Mother of sons my wish is to abolish females being the priority, GBV and everything else that divides us further. Violence has no gender, both males and females are affected, both can be the victims or the perpetrator. That's all, it's just been made into a pitch that has de-feminised the feminine and emasculated the masculine. Most importantly it's been done to divide us. But, in order to do that, people need to be shown there is no difference, soooo I make film about it. We made a film A Shell of herself, to do just that, change the narrative of violence and stop making the 'empowered' woman a perpetual victim. In our society, the victim couldn't possibly be the perpetrator. It's just for those who really care about this issue which should be, all of us. This is a film against the narrative that men are always the perpetrators in domestic violence, when the reality is that lesbian relationships have the second highest rate of IPV in all relationships. ~Funny enough, homosexuals, which is TWO men, has the lowest. A hellish night. A lady who stayed in our shelter 3 or 4 times over the years but broke free of her abuser and finally understood that she deserved love, respect, and freedom from violence, took her life this morning. Please pray for her kids and our volunteers. A hellish night.

They carried on with normal life (full fridge, tidy garden) while refusing any medical help, until she died in agony from sepsis and malnutrition. Judge slammed their "complete indifference" and total lack of love. Both caged for just 8 years each at Mold Crown Court. How do parents let their own child die like this?!
