It’s so fucking funny that these dudes genuinely have to try and convince people that they’re only as unemployed as they are because of Peter Dinklage. Like yeah I’m sure producers everywhere were clamoring at the gates for this guy!

I agree. A horror movie in the snow DOES sound cool. And the overall look of this film looks AMAZING. But heres the thing. If you wanna do a unique take on RE, don't claim its "canon with the games" and "this takes place during RE2 and RE3". Cause its clearly NOT those things.

Hot Take on Obsession: After my 17th rewatch, I’m convinced Bear wouldn’t have touched the One Wish Willow if he knew it actually worked.
Look closely at this scene. Bear’s entire identity is built on passive cowardice. He hides behind hypothetical scenarios because if he never asks Nikki out, he never actually gets rejected.
Snapping the Willow was supposed to be a low-stakes emotional outburst, not a choice. The second real consequences entered the room, his entire fantasy crumbled.
His confrontation here to the shop keeper explains and tells us all why these toys are not supposed to be sold in the first place…

@Greg3f Her dialogue makes me feel like it's not the real Nikki and as far as I can tell it's not her snapping back and forth. This is wish Nikki just suffering because she's been forced to want something she cannot have. It's definitely sad but not sad for the same reason.

I never saw that scene as funny. Nikki crying in the corner was the real her, completely helpless while the wish controlled her body. That's psychological horror, not comedy. #Obsession

A thing that annoys me about the "physical games sell less than digital" claim is that there is no way to properly track how much a single disc has been passed around. Like one game copy could be responsible for getting several people into a franchise long term
