My current spending is ~$5K/mo
That is if I don't travel, If I travel it goes 2x to 3x because Airbnbs are pricey compared to rent, and flights, eating outside more
I'll probably get cancelled for spending so much on Uber, but it's not a lot of rides actually
Also excludes annual taxes like capital gains and income tax

You can imagine how watching anything from your couch will be super immersive, and being able to move the table around to watch previews from multiple angles.

TLDR: LIV is a) not an unsupported hack and b) not the same situation as YUR, and is as such a bad comparison.

@hmltn Reviving my dead account to comment on behalf of @LIV (I’m the cofounder & CEO). The @BigscreenVR, @yur_fit and VD story is different to ours. Oculus has had a mixed reality capture SDK since late 2017 and we’ve been aware on their efforts for as long. (1/4)

Any reason why USB-to-Ethernet adapters no longer work since v23 on Quest 2 @ID_AA_Carmack? They worked fine on v21 and it was super useful for me and for other users. Thanks!

@hmltn @LIV @BigscreenVR @yur_fit So respectfully, I’d like to ask for LIV to not be bunched into the conversation here.
We parted ways with Cix in Aug 2018. @CixLiv, @DShankar and @VRDesktop clearly have grounds to be upset and I empathise and support their efforts. But it is exactly that... their efforts.

@hmltn @LIV @BigscreenVR @yur_fit We’ve worked with Oculus on many projects, including powering their Defy Reality launch trailers.
The team at @oculus have, by and large, been very honest and transparent with us about their plans. In our case, simply competing in the space =/ anticompetitive behaviour. (2/4)
