@taiharrow I think it's just the algorithm being changed to favor political content. Before Twitter was bought, I noticed a lot more engagement on posts.

@KyleLeeWriter Yeah, the algorithm was changed for politics unfortunately. It's annoying. I remember how active the writing community used to be and now there are a lot less people and engagement I'm seeing.

@sddonovan Unfortunately, Twitter has become extremely quiet on the writing community side ever since the algorithm updates. Even with Twitter Premium or whatever it's called, mostly just see bots in the comments.

The writing community has its ups and down, but overall it's got a lot of really chill people. Keep interacting, and you'll keep seeing posts like this in your feed 😊.

@BellaDunnWriter Really wish that content creating sites would do more to protect smaller creators. There's a reason why smaller creators on most sites are targeted by bots and scammers.

Was hoping to stream on YouTube today but honestly got a late start to the day. Will probably stream Heroes of Might and Magic III later this evening on Twitch instead. The #WritingCommunity will absolutely be welcomed to join in watching any streams I might share here.

Ugh, when you get new f0llow3rz and their pictures are just some AI generated image and you know these are not real people and just sc4mm3rs. 😭 I want to interact with real readers and writers.

@Hart_Horrors Yep. Couldn't afford a professional editor for my first time completing a book, so I did it myself. Ended up completely rewriting the last couple of chapters.

Finished with editing for chapter two of A Rider's Fate for tomorrow's #Wattpad update. Unfortunately, not really extra time tonight to do any streaming but planning on a YouTube stream tomorrow.

@barb_avon What's really annoying is when authors use it in their advertisements on Facebook and it's obvious. I understand not having the finances to invest in a good cover, but at least double-check the mistakes. I've seen obvious signs of AI art front and center of promotional material.

Are you sick of A.I.? Because I sure as f*ck am. In author interviews, I've been asked why I always set my books in the past. It's because I want my readers to truly escape. The closest I come to mentioning anything "modern" is when one character asks, "What the fuck is Facebook?" Go check out my books. I'm multi-genre. Most of them are set in the 1980s, or 90s, even the 1930s.

Me seeing an agent wanting dragons: Cool. Agent be like: Well, I wanted dragons, but not these types of dragons. I get it but at the same time, it can be frustrating when it's not clear what type of dragons or theme. Would save a lot of work for both the writer and the agent.

Publishers want your book to be "like Hunger Games but different." So basically they want you to invent a new color that's exactly like blue.
