@Casey_Evans_ And analyze it, which is when you peel back the curtains and see the disappointing layers of missing engagement, that the game had the potential to bring out, but didn't, because then it wouldn't of hit all those people back in 2011

Skyrim is an incredibly flawed game but there’s just a real magic to it that so many have tried and failed to capture since that you can’t not consider it one of the greatest games of it era

@DevEthos Yeah, rockstar games have always felt like it's almost 2 different games in one, and instead of writing missions in a way that embraces the freedom the open world has, they try to go for a Hollywood blockbuster script which doesn't fit that freedom

this right here is a perfect explanation of why I haven't been enamored by a lot of rockstar's titles. GTA 6 needs to really innovate on its mission design for me to really be excited for it.

The way this guy analyzed Rockstar Mission Design needs to be studied… “open world but linear mission design with no real freedom” I think there’s a point here and hopefully GTAVI brings a lot of changes when it comes to missions… any thoughts? 🤔

@Meelsie143 Entries, which I think plagues the well of online opinions, because then you see more people that talk about and point out the flaws these many years later, while the majority that liked the game, probably haven't touched it in years, so now it creates a jaded perspective of fans

@biggieU_U So companions have a history point system based on bringing them to places that they comment on, when you get enough, they initiate dialogue with you, you probably hit the threshold here

@Comrade_Del Because for some reason, instead of just having different teams to work on the different franchised, they use their giant studio and plethora of contract work from support studios to make one game at a time, isntead of having a fallout team and elder scrolls team.

@Comrade_Del Of course they weren't, they started working on starfield right after Fallout 4 dropped, the most they probably did with elder scrolls is decide where it's gonna take place and the idea of the main story.
