I was kinda on the fence about this. Basically everything I was open question about is now a negative. Screen space effects are gross and the amount of toggles for it on the dev side aren’t enough. With it taking from performance as well this is just terrible.

Those freaking out about AI face filters are obscuring the bigger picture. DLSS5 offers a generational leap in graphics, made possible with software breakthroughs rather than more powerful hardware. Devs will finesse the application for new releases and they’ll look incredible.

@GelsingerINTC If it’s sold into the rack they can’t just add another CPU if it’s directly integrated into the package. You seem to not get that Intel and AMD have faster designs bottlenecked with how it’s attached to the board. There is no simple fix without codesign.

@GelsingerINTC Again it doesn’t matter who is better. Nvidia gets to ship CPUs because it’s apart of the offering. They can ship the entire system and cut out AMD and Intel entire while still selling worse CPUs at a higher margin. I’m not saying Nvidia has better CPUs.
