@uncledoomer @TribuneGallio This person is very much a product of an instant gratification culture, and a victimhood culture.
"I'm oppressed because I can't own a huge house, have food delivered to me instantly any time I want. America hates kids!"

@PaulTassi Looks like Google left a giant hole in their business model for another search engine to niche into.
English

yeah
it might just be over. like my whole industry
I don't really know where to go from here. How do you exist in an ecosystem that takes all your work and gives you nothing in return

A biotech company plans to bring extinct animals back to life
Colossal Biosciences in Texas says it has hatched 26 live chicks from artificial 3D printed eggs
The company wants to scale up the project to genetically engineer living birds to resemble New Zealand's extinct South Island giant moa
They transferred contents from real fertilized chicken eggs into artificial shells
26 healthy chicks have hatched so far with more on the way. The chicks are living on a Texas farm and appear normal.
No natural shell or surrogate hen needed
The South Island giant moa they want to bring back was a flightless bird up to 12 feet tall, weighing up to 500+ lbs. It went extinct 500–600 years ago. Its eggs were enormous, 80x a chicken egg so these artificial eggs would be needed
I feel like we have a lot of real world problems that need solving over bringing extinct birds back to life right now…

@WillZander4 @ericweinstein How important are opposable thumbs and the ability to breathe air to human domination?
Turns out, those are very, very, very important. Intelligence or not.
English

Just look at life on earth as an example. Of all of the creatures in the Animal Kingdom, select one at random and describe its features. Would they be human like? No. The probability is incredibly low that some random species from some planet light years away would look very similar to us. But wait… They’re intelligent. Dolphins are intelligent. Octopus are intelligent. Ravens are intelligent. None of them look like humans. You are being duped.
English

NO tissue samples? Tetrapod body plans? Eukaryotic? Carbon based?
I mean. Wow.
Or just a convergent evolution MIRACLE resulting in a humanoid which, by pure coincidence, a human could most easily briefly animate in costume along with “Trust me bro.”
BS.
C’mon. Don’t do this.

@catholicbob "Eating PB&J everyday doesn’t help with the cost of gas, healthcare, or paying back student loans."
It literally does help you better afford all those things.
Reducing your driving saves on gas costs.
These are not new ideas.

Boomers are doing their level best today to prove to Millennials and Gen-Z how woefully out of touch they are. The latest is about how kids these days are eating $30 lunches every day. Now I don’t know if it’s true that kids are spending $30/day for lunch (I’m doubtful), but I will note that $30 is basically lunch for 2 at a fast food joint. It’s not a steak at Outback. The problem isn’t that kids are spending too much on lunch, it’s that lunch costs too much. Everything costs too much. Eating PB&J everyday doesn’t help with the cost of gas, healthcare, or paying back student loans. There is no empathy.

@TrumpGirlGem @disclosureorg Why would aliens let other aliens fly around with impunity?
English

@disclosureorg These aliens travel 100's of millions of miles without incident but have problems once they reach earth and crash🤔
Not only do they crash but their fellow aliens send no rescue mission to pick them up or their aircraft. In fact they allow both to be taken by earthlings.🙄

Neil deGrasse Tyson says the public is ready for the truth about UFOs because credible officials and whistleblowers have testified before Congress, but he still wants physical proof of recovered non-human craft and bodies.
“These are people of high rank, and all sincere ... [they have] said that they’ve got alien body parts and reverse-engineered technologies.”

@clashreport I don’t see anything wrong with it. You insulted a politician, you should be punished. These people give up their lives for citizens, they deserve nothing but respect

A German teenager posted a frustrated tweet cursing out Olaf Scholz while his 37.9 GB Fortnite update crawled along at 173 KB/s, a download that would have taken over 60 hours to complete.
The tweet had just 503 views.
German police later opened criminal proceedings against him for insulting a politician.
The case was dropped after he deleted the post.
A year later he posted the official letter.

English

@clashreport I remember when Germans were arguing with people on X that they do, in fact, have freedom of speech.

@tatidelfuego @xevekiah Reality can be stranger than fiction. Countless children experience this and worse every day.
Unironically, I'm very glad you and most people do not go through anything like this. It becomes a twisted origin story that can be tough to overcome.
English

@xevekiah This is the creepiest thread I’ve ever read. The comments are beyond absurd in relation to post. Seems like a psyop created by the Lefty CIA and 🤖- designed to make people fear having children and getting married .l
English

What changed me was watching my dad beg my mom not to leave after 14 years of marriage, and said she never really loved him. only to find out there was already someone else.
Months after they separated, he admitted he had known for a long time that there was another person. He just stayed quiet because he didn’t want our family to break apart.
One night he said, “If I didn’t have children, I would’ve ended my life already.”
That sentence never left me.
And yet somebody would still easily tell us “That’s still your mom.”
Fuck that.
English

@Thee__Bombshell @TripTheCaptain @xevekiah Yep, it's why he named it sacrifice. You sacrifice some of your immediate gratification and happiness for the benefit of others in your family.
The sacrificed happiness is returned to you ten-fold after raising your family. At least for most.
English

@TripTheCaptain @xevekiah yea and that’s sad. why would you wanna be willingly unhappy? you only have one life in this world. you’re gonna waste it being unhappy? that’s a tragedy.
English

@JBPritzker I don't understand why he doesn't want to help his people?
Maybe his people aren't Chicago residents.
English

@whatever There’s literally still African slaves, like why don’t these black motherfuckers go save their brothers and sisters in Africa instead of complaining about White people who own no slaves.
English

@frozenhotline @whatever Slavery still exists on a large scale. But it's not affecting blacks in America, so you don't care, or even knows it exists.
GIF
English

@whatever White ppl only abolished slavery because of mass criticism and Black ppl protesting and running away from their slave masters and had it not been for the black brothers and sisters, who stood up for their right to be seen as humans slavery would still exist on a large scale

Congressman Tim Burchett confirms on Joe Rogan that Bill Gates is behind the massive increase in ticks
Now we have a whistleblower who says pilots are being paid to drop ticks by aircraft
This matches accounts in America of tick boxes being found
“We are paid to spread ticks by air. It happens twice a year, early spring and early fall. This year we've been hired to do it earlier. The company receives the ticks in boxes. Each box contains millions of ticks. The aircraft used are generally single or dual prop aircraft, single pilot, and There's one other passenger that handles the dispersal. It pays a lot, and I mean a lot.”
“Here we have a whistleblower saying that they are paid to disperse ticks across Canada. Now, this sounds eerily familiar to what we're hearing about these boxes of ticks that are being found” in America
The Gates Foundation funded a biotech firm called Oxitec for research on genetically modifying cattle ticks
Farmers claim to be funding “boxes of ticks”on their properties
Lyme disease cases are skyrocketed right at the time when a Lyme disease vaccine is actively in the works
So without the ticks, they can’t sell their vaccines
You’ll never guess who’s making it, Pfizer and Valneva
