I understand your POV and frustration. When a situation continues to provoke this level of reaction, it usually means it is taking up more space than it should. Letting anger dominate the response gives the situation ongoing control, rather than focusing on what actually supports victims and prevents future harm. WOW. Kirk Moore, the Principal of Pauls Valley High School in Oklahoma, was injured after he TACKLED a would-be school shooter. Moore suffered a gunshot wound to the leg but was able to subdue the shooter and prevent further casualties. This man is a HERO.

@brithume Jeff Bezos makes 8 million dollars per hour. He paid no taxes in 2007 and 2011. His average tax rate is 1.1%. I will never understand how people can excuse billionaires from paying taxes.

Again - nothing to do with what was being discussed. The issues you cite are quite possibly relevant to the results of the last election, a year ago, where voters decided the Liberals won, but were only deserving of a minority government. Their bribing since of members of other parties, who campaigned for and were elected as representatives of those parties, to cross the floor and thus undemocratically fashion a de facto majority, undermines the democratic will of the people expressed in the election, which did not give the Liberals a majority. This has in fact never been done previously in Canada, and in fact had only ever previously been done in third world countries or others with very sketchy or nascent democratic traditions - and even in those cases, most have since made it illegal. Lastly - a majority of Canadians polled oppose floor-crossing post-election. But who cares about that, right?
