🚨211 confirms not enough shelter space to accommodate Oppenheimer residents being decamped @stopsweepsvan

Jonny lived in a tent on Hastings until last year's decampment. Packing his tent today in Oppenheimer Park, he told me “It’s like a circle” Asked where he'd go next, he raised his hands to say it's impossible to know “I dunno. Every day is different, bro.” vancouversun.com/news/local-new…

This morning: Vancouver park rangers, with the assistance of police officers, removing people’s tents and belongings from Oppenheimer Park, where some homeless residents have been living for months. Story to come.

Decampment continues. Tents, sleeping bags, belongings - all stolen, on stolen land.
