I've been working with the LLDB Python scripting to build capabilities on top of @dotnet SOS. I don't know Python so it's a learning experience. Hopefully someone else will find it useful. github.com/dmetzgar/LldbS…

@united customer service has been really impressive. We had some flights cancelled and got travel certificates to spend on other flights but had some complications getting them to work the way we wanted. CS worked with us over DM to fix it.

@scriptwelder @rickbrewPDN Seems like game maker studio would be a better fit. Sometimes it goes on sale on steam.

@united I invited my family to travel with me and paid for tickets. The flight was canceled and refunded as credit. Although I paid for all the tickets, the credits were under each person's name. They don't travel and the credits will expire. Can I use their credit?

Been reading through "Building Web APIs with ASP.NET Core". It's comprehensive and goes through a lot of details I don't cover in ".NET in Action". Have a look: mng.bz/K0KE

Looking for a .NET business rules engine (BRMS) that can not only evaluate rules but also have a UI to author those. Any recommendations?

@davekellett Is there a list of companies that use 1 and 2 plastics? Whenever I see them I appreciate that they went through the extra expense/effort they put in. But it feels so niche.

@richcampbell It's been so long since I've had to write IAsyncResult that I'm sure it was all a bad dream and never actually existed.

@dduncandb @CFDevelop You shouldn't "be fired" for the errors you make. We all make errors, we all introduce bugs, that's all we do, all day long. You should instead talk openly and without fear about the error, so that everyone can learn from it, fix it and let all the team to improve after the fix

I'm not used to click-bait articles about programming. Seems like satire. I guess that means #Dotnet is more mainstream now? BTW, is Medium telling people to reword their article titles this way?

@WindowsUpdate Gonna be sad to see Windows Media Center go. It still works great for recording OTA TV. The biggest push for me is OneDrive refuses to sync on my 8.1 machine.

As a reminder, Windows 8.1 will reach the end of support on Jan. 10, 2023. Technical assistance and software updates will no longer be provided beyond this date. We recommend upgrading Windows 8.1 devices to a supported Windows release. support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/…

@GergelyOrosz Do you have any insight into the purpose of layoffs instead of hiring freeze? Esp. for companies that have cash reserves. Do they see multi-year headwinds that will deplete their reserves if they don't cut now? What do they know that the rest of us don't?
