senator, with all due respect, senator sanders has always consistently voted in favor of sending defensive weapons to israel. so has AOC. so has warren. etc. progressives in congress generally approve sending DEFENSIVE weapons to israel, but do not approve of sending offensive weapons. this is silly. jasmine failed to read the room, re: israel. the delta between the two, on this issue and a host of others, was extremely clear and demonstrable. im sorry if this stings, and i know why it does.

A friend in Israel is my age with a young family. They are in a bomb shelter with an infant & children right now. He tells me — ‘morale is high; we’re exhausted & worse but in it to win it. And we feel fellowship profoundly with the Americans; we are part of something bigger than us.’
