@nickysyddyma Yea I totally know what you mean. It is quite a funny juxtaposition innit! Especially crusty places like the cros nest and new cross in. Saying that, me having to wear earplug indicates I go to shows, which sadly ain’t been able to for ages :(

I take customers' address details over the phone. I only need the first line and postcode, but when I get a customer from Wales, I ask for their full address, as I love hearing them say the Welsh place names.

@aranjones It’s especially easy if you learn it the SSiW way! Hard work, but not difficult. Dysgu cymraeg is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done; miles above my degree and phd. I’ve made friends who I have never spoken English with and it’s honestly the best feeling ever.

I now live in down here and have been speaking it with my daughter since she was born. She speaks some already and she’ll be off to ysgol cymraeg soon.
