However, per a new story by the Atlantic, according to the Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Trump approached him after the performance and asked: “Why do you bring people like that here? No one wants to see that, the wounded.” Trump then allegedly told Milley to never let Avila appear in public again. Is this not a terrible thing for a President to say about a wounded veteran?
