Proper installation saves critical seconds! 🚨 Yesterday’s Fire Alarm System Installations Tech Talk had an excellent turnout, with 45 participants joining us for an informative and engaging session led by Frank Kurz of @FIRETEK. One of the key roles of ECABC as an industry association is to advocate in support of economic development that creates opportunities for electrical contractors, line utility contractors and industry suppliers. The construction of AI data centres in other jurisdictions has demonstrated clear growth potential for members, as projects can create hundreds of construction jobs for skilled tradespeople. This is is why the Association has encouraged BC government directly and through the media to work to bring data centres to British Columbia. ECABC welcomes the news that @TELUS plans to build two new centres and expand another in BC, and is hopeful that the provincial government's competitive procurement process for up to 400 MW of electricity capacity will result in the province attracting more projects. 📰 Read more: biv.com/news/technolog…
