Infleqtion
Infleqtion@infleqtion·
Infleqtion has been selected for three U.S. Department of Energy (@ENERGY) Genesis Mission projects, advancing quantum technologies that support scientific discovery, energy innovation, and U.S. technology leadership. Working with @Argonne National Laboratory, @BrookhavenLab, @Livermore_Lab, and @CUBoulder, these projects will focus on: • AI-optimized quantum computing • Deployable quantum sensing • Fusion energy research The awards build on growing federal investment in quantum technologies and reinforce Infleqtion's role in delivering deployable quantum computing and quantum sensing capabilities for commercial and government applications. As the U.S. accelerates its investment in quantum, collaborations like these are helping translate breakthrough science into real-world impact. Read more: ow.ly/jHOk50ZroSE

$INFQ CEO said yesterday that the US has natural resources that remain undiscovered. Specifically, rare-earth elements. They're used in defense systems, semiconductors, and energy technologies. The current mapping tools aren't sensitive enough to detect them. Quantum sensors, $INFQ's main product today, change that. Quantum is a matter of national security.
Infleqtion@infleqtion

America cannot secure what it cannot see. In testimony before the House Natural Resources Subcommittee (@natresources), Infleqtion CEO Matt Kinsella urged Congress to advance the Quantum-Enhanced Critical Minerals Mapping Act, legislation that would equip the U.S. Geological Survey with quantum gravity gradiometry to locate critical mineral deposits faster, more accurately, and with far less environmental disruption than traditional exploration methods. The legislation is about more than mapping minerals. It is an investment in American technological leadership, strengthening domestic supply chains, reducing reliance on China, accelerating adoption of U.S.-built quantum technologies, and creating valuable public scientific data that will benefit industry, researchers, and future generations. Thank you @repjeffhurd for the opportunity to share testimony before the committee today. Watch the testimony here: ow.ly/rmfs50ZqQ5O

$INFQ shows another critical application of quantum: Exploration of critical minerals and rare-earth elements. They occur in relatively low concentrations naturally. Discovering them requires using classical sensors (which often lack the required sensitivity) and drilling (which is expensive and invasive). Quantum sensors use atoms or ions to measure the interactions between them, which are sensitive to earth’s gravitation, which itself depends on what’s in the crust. Changes in the atomic interactions as you go, e.g. from an area with rare-earth elements to an area without them, are tiny. Classical equipment can’t detect those sub-surface density shifts, but quantum sensors can. Critical mineral mapping fully aligns with the US’s push secure supply chains and boost domestic manufacturing. Quantum sensing is a new technology, and it’s natural that politicians want to understand it. $INFQ CEO is probably the best person to explain what it can do and how much it will cost. Hence his testimony before the US House of Representatives Committee on Natural Resources later today.

Infleqtion@infleqtion

Quantum technology is becoming a strategic advantage for America's critical mineral supply chain. Thank you to @RepJeffHurd for the opportunity to contribute to this important conversation. Tomorrow, Infleqtion CEO Matt Kinsella will testify before the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources (@NatResources) in support of the Quantum-Enhanced Critical Minerals Mapping Act, highlighting how quantum sensing can help strengthen domestic resource development and reduce reliance on foreign sources. Quantum gravity gradiometry has the potential to transform how we identify critical mineral deposits, reducing exploration risk while accelerating the development of the resources that power advanced manufacturing, energy, defense, and the technologies of tomorrow. The Quantum Bull
The Quantum Bull@QuantumBullHQ·
$INFQ CEO Matt Kinsella just gave this testimony to congress. A lot of our supply in the United States for critical minerals is outsourced to countries like China. With existing quantum sensing technology, we could survey and find mineral deposits in North America. The advantages of using quantum sensing would be reduced environmental impact, higher precision, and ultimately reliable new national sources of critical minerals. Seems like a win from every angle. @infleqtion as a company trades at just a $2b market cap, yet in the past 45 days this company has had enormous presence at every major legislative event related to quantum technology. As quantum is moving into the spotlight as a national strategic priority, Infleqtion is positioning itself as an authority and ongoing supplier for different government applications. These are early signs of deep alignment that many will miss; these conversations are likely to further entrech Infleqtion as a critical player for the U.S. Government moving forward.

My interview with @nejatian, CEO of Opendoor. This is a rare look inside a turnaround, while it's happening. It's raw, real, and violent. Kaz took over $OPEN when it was months away from bankruptcy. His wife shipped a mattress to the office and told him not to come home until he had a plan to break even. Some of what he told me: • "All success is unique, but all failures rhyme." • The most dangerous people in a company are competent but not mission aligned. • Meetings are a bug in the system. • The comfortable lies that sink a company are the same ones that sink careers (and countries). (Shane and guests may hold positions in assets discussed in this episode. Nothing in this conversation should be considered investment advice, financial guidance, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.)

It's done. The Doma team is officially part of @Opendoor. Since March, the Title Acceptance Program has expanded to more lenders and more states with a stronger runway through 2027. Doma handles the risk decision. We close the transaction. Homeowners keep more money. This is what fixing homeownership looks like, and we're just getting started 🏡 opendoor.com/articles/doma-…

In March we said Opendoor was acquiring Doma's closing operations. Today it's done. Since then: FHFA extended the title acceptance program through 2027. more lenders joined. Freddie Mac started moving the same direction. Most refinance title searches find nothing. Homeowners paid for them anyway. Not anymore. opendoor.com/articles/doma-…
