@VodkaGreece Crimson Desert is filled with boring ass quests, follow someone to this place to this other place etc, idk understand why people are acting as if CD is Elden Ring or Baldurs Gate 3 quality, it really isnt.

I understand the game are different but I’m worried about this game after playing crimson desert. Will it have that level of detail and open world like Crimson Desert does. This is nothing to do with the studio btw as I’ll still be playing day 1 but it’ll just be me but hopefully I still enjoy it.

@chaosprimeZ Why would Sony copy Mocrosofts strategy ? PS5s have sold more than 90 million while Xbox is still at the 30 millions 🤔

The reality is that the game is going to be in its best form on April 7 rather than launch. Sony continues to take all Xbox games without giving anything (single player or substantial) Microsoft bought Bethesda 3 years ago to prevent the game from being an exclusive only to go back and give Sony the best version of the game. So, as you can see, the reason it's a big deal is because Sony made Microsoft bend the knee and look desperate and stupid while still moneyhatting games away from Xbox and making PlayStation the more desirable console. They are having their cake and eating it. June will be interesting

@dark1x @994_ram People are just hating on the game because Bungie is owned by Sony, this always happen when Sony publishes a game, this happened with Ghost of Yotei, people who didnt even had an interest on the game were hating on it for no reason.

@994_ram Man, I get those points, though, and I actually agree. I'd rather they make a new SP game. However, the game itself is good. That doesn't mean the studio itself has made a lot of errors but it is possible to judge the game on its own merits, don't you think?

@GermanStrands 7, due to boring main quests and bad writing. Also forcing us to use different characters for some missions and our companion basically being mute when theyre with you.

@LynkFormer @TheRealZephryss I enjoy the exploration and the combat, but not the main story or writing, it drags the game down, similar to Dragons Dogma 2.

My quest is to pick a direction and walk in that direction doing random things along the way. Just like with Skyrim back in the day. Along that path I happen to get actual side quests and end up doing them until I roam some place else. I can see why you're not enjoying it if you're only going from marker to marker. 98% of the game exists outside of that so you're missing out on all the best stuff not exploring.

Do you think Crimson Desert will be a Game of the Year contender this year?

Have you played it? I've played over 100 hours of it and I'm coming to the ending chapters. It's an interesting story and all the quests are great, especially since on top of that, you get to explore the world and make your own unique adventures. And before you say something about expecting people to play that long is unreasonable, the truth is that expecting a 5 to 10 hour linear experience like it's resident evil requiem is the unreasonable take.
