One of my mutuals (who has gotten lost in my replies or I’d quote) had such an insightful post. People downplay demonic influence in the case of the MN shooter because if they believe it, they’re forced to accept the existence of unclean spirits. And if demons exist, so does Jesus, and they must repent and serve Him to avoid the influence. Many would rather keep sinning in blindness than accept Jesus as savior because they’re having too much “fun” in misdeeds.
