Oil Services names look really good here. Lots of names making new highs. $OIH breaking out of a long-term base going back to 2018. Wonder if oil services will eventually become another "bottleneck" investment theme. What are some good names? We own $OIH for now.

I just had the craziest experience at the airport. We are about to board a flight to Atlanta when the pilot from the incoming plane walks out of the jetway. Guy is probably late 50s, salt and pepper hair, military look. The kind of pilot you instantly feel good about seeing on your flight. Pilot walks over to the counter, gets on the PA system, and starts addressing everyone. “Folks, I’ve been doing this a long time. Flying one of these jets is easy. The hard part is looking at 130 people and telling them their flight is going to be delayed.” Audible groans throughout the boarding gate. Most people here are flying to Atlanta as a layover before another flight. 130 people just had their day become a complete mess. The pilot goes on. “I get it, trust me. But here’s the deal: During our landing, we had a small mechanical issue. I’m not your pilot for the next leg, but I don’t feel confident the jet’s safe to fly until we have a mechanical team look it over, and I don’t feel comfortable asking the next pilots to fly you guys until we get confirmation.” He points at the agents next to him behind the counter: “Now, none of this is the agents’ fault. Please be kind to them. I’m the one who made this decision, not them, so any inconvenience you experience is my fault. Just please know that I don’t do this lightly, and I’m only doing it because I believe it’s in the best interests of everyone’s safety.” Now this is where the story gets crazy. The pilot puts the microphone down, grabs his suitcase, and all the people in the gate… Start clapping. I’m not joking, everyone starts clapping for the guy. 130 people who just had their travel plans ruined give an ovation to the guy who made the decision and delivered the message. All because he addressed them with decency and transparency, took ownership of the decision, made it clear that it was necessary, and explained why it was in everyone’s best interest. It’s honestly one of the best examples of strong communication—of strong leadership, for that matter—that I’ve seen in a long time. @Delta, whoever your Atlanta to Wichita pilot was this morning, he’s one of the good ones. Please tell him the delayed passengers of flight 1637 appreciate what he did.

Lots of questions, comments, and concerns about our tick eating machines we posted yesterday the Guinea Fowl. - First & foremost they're retarded -Loud AF Ours are actually pretty quiet, but they are great living alarm systems -Eat 300-1000 bugs a day Haven't had a tick or chigger issue since we've brought them onto the property -Can clear an 8' fence -Have been told they're aggressive towards roosters, but that hasn't been our experience -Apparently they're delicious -Wouldn't eat the eggs The noise & stupidity are big downsides for a lot of folks, but after experiencing our first summer out here with constant chigger & tick bites they're a huge net positive in our opinion to have on the farm.

Not to panic anyone. But I am kind of in the doomer lane of thing. While I feel we are near the end of the 4th turning - perhaps months away, this concept has popped up in my feed twice over the last 3 days on socials. Critical water levels in the SW. No big TV networks are covering this. I most recently saw a clip on Glenn beck. So I love my AI these days. On it 24x7 for work projects, home research projects, etc. Here is my infographic on the SW water supply of the U.S. the danger? - water rationing will need to be severe - threats to power generation may cause rolling blackouts. The trader in me wants to figure out a way to short something. I’m turning that part of my brain off to just deliver information on this. I already have 2 years of food and have a water source from Niagara Falls, so I’m good. But many of you might want to just start adding a little more to your cart each week.

I’m not trying to squash your good deed, but being a carpenter doesn’t qualify you to install a water heater, correctly. Calling it a “hot water heater” doesn’t give me great confidence you know as much as you should. In rare instances, water heaters can become just like a bomb, whether it’s a gas or electric water heater, so watching a few YT videos might not be a bad idea. In addition, applying for a permit and allowing an inspector to give you some free consultation would be appropriate. Outside of the simple labor to install a water heater, making sure it’s safe, it’s up to code, and is installed correctly is a great deed in itself. I’ve seen many good deeds end badly in this situation, unfortunately.

Geez my post about giving my neighbor a hand with her hot water tank blew up. Leaving soon to get the new tank but I wanted to let some of you know a few things. First I was a carpenter for many years. My father taught me everything I know about construction, trades. I do know what I am doing. I’m not an idiot. I don’t need to watch a YouTube video on doing whatever. Second I’m not asking for praise. If there’s one thing I like about X is reading the good things in life. I thought this was a good thing. Most of my neighbors are elderly. In the winter my son and I will clean the snow of their driveways. We help them clean up their leaves. When the power is out we check on them. It’s not about looking for a “medal “ it’s about doing the right thing.

Dude. I was lost in the mountains of Naxos Greece with my wife in 90mph winds. Saw some guy in the distance that had a map that led us back. Turned out he was the college roommate of some guy I used to buy subway sandwiches from in high school. Crazy but I know what you’re talking about.

Weeks before covid happened I met an army virologist in a completely random encounter in a bar in David, Panama. He sat me down and explained that covid was a bio weapon and that the entire world was going into lockdown. This happened in January 2020. I took off my leveraged oil related trades and went short cruise lines, air lines, and casinos. My earliest followers began to follow me around this time. I had seen reports about a virus in Wuhan possibly impacting jet fuel, but it was this encounter that opened my mind to the possibility that covid could be a real world changing thing. About three weeks ago I had another random encounter with someone telling me the peace and normalization process would start "in about 3 weeks, you'll remember this conversation". It seems crazy to most, and I'm willing to bet 90% of you aren't even open to these kinds of encounters and experiences. But anybody who's ever done, for example, an ultra long distance hike, knows what I'm talking about when I mention "trail magic." Random encounters that give you exactly what you need at exactly the time that you need it. Anyone who has ever gone deep into the wilderness on foot knows what I'm talking about. You might call it God, you might call it the universe. There's probably both a technical and spiritual explanation for this phenomenon. Neuroscientists might identify spikes in alpha and gamma brain waves when these sorts of experiences occur. Anyway, always keep an open mind. Rational analysis will only get you so far. Sometimes the answers you need literally just come out of nowhere.
