It took us roughly 5 minutes on Google to debunk claims like these👇🏽 from both Semafor & Iran International. In 2014, when the nuclear negotiations were underway & IPIS had new leadership, many more institutions - Western & otherwise - formally engaged IPIS.

UPDATE: @Semafor believes 2014 & 2018 come after 2021!
They refused to correct inaccuracies despite seeing attacks Tehran lodged @CrisisGroup prior to 2021.
Presumably, these attacks don’t fit their narrative…or perhaps Tehran calling @AliVaez a CIA agent isn’t an “attack”!
