@TexasAshley3 @PhilipGreenspun @RonDeSantis I would say no English no citizenship, but a well behaved Korean or Swedish person who scored high on an IQ/ASVAB test is fine for initial immigration. They can spend years here learning english and then be tested for literacy and fluency when they apply for citizenship.

Both the Hart-Celler Act of 1965 and the additions to it in the early 90s need to be repealed.
So many examples of putting American citizens last in those pieces of legislation.

Annie Ramos has been in this country since she was an infant. She's an ASU student, a Dream scholar, and a military spouse. She was put in ICE detention only days after her wedding. There are thousands of people just like Annie being detained right now. This is their home. Our immigration system is broken and there is no reason we cannot fix it if we start working together on this.
