IRS CEO Frank Bisignano: "The total amount of refunds we've issued now stands at over $280B, 16% higher than last year. This is real relief going out to working Americans and their families. Thanks to the new landmark policies, more than 53M Americans have already experienced new financial benefits."

New: Tara Bowman lives on a farm in Woodstock, Virginia, a town of some 6,000 people nestled along the banks of the Shenandoah River’s North Fork. But under a redistricting plan Virginia voters may enact next week, Bowman’s community would be in the same congressional district as wealthy Washington suburbs such as Fairfax and McLean some 90 miles away. “We’re 100% rural. We have lots of farming, small business,” an incredulous Bowman said at a weekend rally organized by redistricting opponents. “I can’t believe they’re gonna give me a congressman from Fairfax.” w/ @fschouten cnn.com/2026/04/15/pol…

@navyhawk104 @PolitiBunny I live in a small town. Have seen the bike lanes used once and that was when the sidewalks were covered with snow and people were walking in them. Millions of taxpayer dollars spent for the appearance of "progress."

When we first moved to Virginia 10 years ago, a lot of people warned me about how we'd be treated if we lived 'south of the river.' At the time, I didn't get it (and you know me, I didn't really care), but with this redistricting bit, I'm finally seeing it. There is absolutely a divide in Virginia. There is the heart and soul of the state, the people who have lived here for generations. And then there are the people who moved here after ruining their own states with their blue policies. And now, those same people are trying to destroy what's left of the Commonwealth, while insisting rural Virginia is out of luck. 'LAND DOESN'T VOTE,' they declare. They're fine with handing the Commonwealth over to politicians in D.C. like Hakeem Jeffries, because Virginia is not their home. They have no loyalty to this amazing state, where our country began. And it shows. So, it's up to us rednecks in rural Virginia to save her. I believe we can do it... I just need you to believe we can. Show up. Please. Vote NO.

@NJBeisner I was a SANE (Sexual assault nurse examiner) for about a year. Every case I was involved in in that year involved the woman being on drugs or alcohol at the time of her "assault." Literally every single one.

People can be mad at this, but even a broken clock is right twice a day. And Megyn is right here. No woman “deserves” to be raped. And a woman’s choices (including her style of inebriation and apparel) don’t excuse assault or immoral behavior on the part of men. That said, a woman putting herself in dangerous situations—either by getting too drunk or by going back to the man she claimed previously assaulted her or anything else—is stupid. It’s like a pedestrian running across a busy road without looking both ways because she “has the right of way,” and “it’s the drivers’ responsibility to not hit me.” Both things are true—and yet neither thing will help you if you’re hurt or worse than hurt. Women cannot do whatever, say whatever, imbibe whatever, be wherever with whomever at all hours of the night—and expect all men everywhere to take care of them. Bad men exist. We live in a fallen and sinful world. Act accordingly.

Holy shit! Megyn Kelly is blaming the Swalwell victim. No one! I mean no one!! Deserves to be drugged and raped because she got drunk. This is disgusting. Kelly is a pathetic hag.

As a husband and father with a wife and three kids at home myself, I can't even imagine betraying my family the way these accusations describe. Eric Swalwell faces grave claims from multiple women while having a wife and three children waiting at home. Family is everything — I cannot imagine sacrificing loyalty, trust, and protection that my wife and kids deserve and need. He just hurt his family beyond comprehension. Leaders must live the values they demand from the rest of us. Thoughts?

Indigent tenants can now stop paying rent and live in their landlords property for at least 6 months rent free if they work the court system and appeal process correctly. No landlord in their right mind would ever rent to an indigent tenant ever again thanks to this bill which is now law.

You’re gonna throw your phone after you see this story. For 125 years, a group of Catholic nuns in New York have run a FREE hospice called Rosary Hill Home. They take care of poor people dying from cancer no charge, ever. Just pure Christian charity. Then Gov. Kathy Hochul signed a law a few years ago that forces EVERY nursing home to use preferred pronouns, house patients by gender identity (not biological sex), and let people into opposite-sex bathrooms and spaces. The nuns said: “We treat everyone with dignity… but we can’t do that. It goes against our Catholic faith.” So New York is now threatening them with $5,000–$10,000 fines per violation, loss of their license, and jail time. These sisters who’ve spent their whole lives caring for the dying are being told: obey the gender rules or shut down. Unbelievable.

How much of parenting discourse is downstream of "parents both full time with small children in childcare" being one of the worst modern lifestyles available - childcare leaving only the highest friction parts of the day (getting up and dressed, dinner bath and bedtime) and hard stops at the end of each day being very stressful given modern professional working culture and commutes

Five teaching hospitals in Texas - including Houston Methodist - require all students to get a Covid shot in order to do rotations at their hospital. I will write a medical exemption for any student in Texas facing this mandate - free of charge. Email frontdesk@breathemd.org. If they deny my exemption, I will help you find a lawyer and raise money to sue them. mRNA shots are not safe, not effective, and no one should be injecting them into their body.

@AGHamilton29 In the years before the ACA, about 14–16% of Americans were uninsured. By 2023, that rate had fallen to a record low of 7.7%. Your uncontrolled impulse to lie about basic facts is extremely disturbing.

Please point me to the exact provision of ACA that guaranteed cancer patients the treatment Sasse is receiving… Hint: You can’t The ACA slightly expanded health insurance coverage, but at a very high cost to the entire healthcare system. Those costs included some cancer patients losing their doctors and far less investment in innovative treatments, like the one that Sasse is currently on. The opposition to ACA was based on the belief that we could achieve expanded coverage without the accompanying cost that came with ACA. The idea that someone has to agree with your terrible policy prescriptions in order to be a real Christian is absurd and dishonest.
Ola Ojewumi@Olas_Truth

Yet, former Senator Ben Sasse voted to repeal the ACA, which gives cancer patients access to the treatment he’s getting. He called it “the worst law in history. It sounds pretty non-Christlike to me.

Ben Sasse has the face of Christ. His bloodied visage is the result of treatment for his pancreatic cancer; the new treatment might give him a few more months. Read or listen to the interview. It's staggering, this man's hope and faith. nytimes.com/2026/04/09/opi…

This should be headline news EVERYWHERE. A Pfizer insider who was former head of toxicology in Europe has just come out and said something that many "conspiracy theorists" suspected. He estimates that 20 000 to 60 000 people in Germany have died from the c*vid vaccine. This was said at a parliamentary enquiry commission in Germany. So why isn't this massive news being reported everywhere? Is the mainstream media that has recieved millions in funding from Bill Gates deliberately covering this up... 🤔
