I always look forward to sharing my annual list of favorite books, movies, and music. Today I’ll start by sharing some of the books that have stuck with me long after I finished reading them. Check them out this holiday season, preferably at an independent bookstore or library!

Along with some fabulous colleagues, I'm putting together a document supporting teaching maths to vision impaired children in early years. Any primary maths leads, numeracy co-ords or anyone who is currently teaching VI EY children who have any ideas/adaptations would be amazing!

This will be a long thread but bear with. My gym offers a women-only pool session every Friday for 90 minutes. Invariably, some blustering bloke comes barging in, is shooed away by the (female) lifeguard & goes off complaining. Also, towards the end of the session, men tend 1/14

@pnjfoster Some great ideas here, and I'd add ALWAYS check the SEND needs of the children in front of you. Hunt down the SENCO and ask to read EHCPs. It'll help beyond measure.

I have been promoted 3 times in 5 years by just telling my bosses how busy and qualified I am. Now I get paid a silly amount of money and nobody knows what I actually do, so today I spent an entire day opening and closing a spreadsheet.
