Duodenal biopsy in HIV+ (AIDS), CD4 = 2/µL Clinical: Episodes of melena, EGD with inflamed erythematous D2 mucosa. 🔬 Mycobacterium avium intracellulare complex infection: Intestinal mucosa with lamina propria expanded by foamy histiocytes packed with organisms, minimal inflammation. The first Yale-GTD Center Trophoblastic Disease Diagnostic Workshop (June 14–16, 2025), with a maximum capacity of 13 registrants, welcomed pathology colleagues from Australia and across the United States. All attendees acknowledged it as a highly rewarding learning experience. The workshop will resume in May 2026.
