Imagine someone came here next week and said God 6000 years ago gave this land to their forefathers and because of that we all have to leave it. We are then pushed into a small part of Karamoja and we have to ask permission to go back to a last that was just last week ours. There are Christians who find such an arrangement fair and Biblical. You resist and insist you want to go back to where you lived, you are shot dead. All you have to do is accept the new arrangement. Later on even that strip given to you is also slowly chopped when the new group needs more land.

Very painful losing two senior Generals in a span of one week especially after celebrating Tarehe Sita. Maj. Gen. Takirwa and Maj. Gen. Sande dedicated all their lives to the securing of our beloved country. They did this with utmost dedication and commitment. My condolences to their families, the Commander In-Chief, the Chief of Defence Forces @mkainerugaba and the entire @MODVA_UPDF fraternity and the country at large. We pray to the Lord to give you strength to overcome the pain caused by these losses.

Tragedy has struck the UPDF family again, and with deep sorrow, we confirm the sudden passing of the UPDF Armored Division Commander (Masaka) Major General Deus Sande early this morning in Mpigi at around 0345 hours. He was on his way to Kampala to attend the funeral service of comrade Major General Francis Takirwa (RIP) at All Saints Cathedral in Nakasero. Major General Takirwa died on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Major General Deus Sande developed breathing complications along the way and efforts to resuscitate him at a hospital facility in Mpigi failed. The exact cause of death will be ascertained later. We extend our condolences to his family, relatives, and friends. MHSRIP.

Yesterday,I got a call from Tourism Minister Tom Butime,threatening & intimidating me over Uganda Airlines probe,bse apparently Jennifer Bamuturaki is his relative.I've reported this at CPS,Ref GEF 60/2022 for it to be on record. No one,I repeat,no one will cause me to back down.

Commander @mkainerugaba has crossed a red line and now the U.S. must reevaluate its security partnership, which includes sanctions, and military cooperation with Uganda. The president's son, and likely successor, cannot just delete tweets and issue hollow apologies. The U.S. will not tolerate this level of instability and recklessness when American personnel, U.S. interests, and innocent lives in the region are at stake.
