@GreatGregarious @sharghzadeh Yeah and that all happened to be the fault of outside forces and not the deep corrupt broken system within the empires that made it plunge into a civil war every other year? That is quite a convenient excuse to make, remind me why the sacking of constantinople happened again?

@EnesDemir035 @sharghzadeh Imperial cities depend on their empire. There’s a reason Justinian built Hagia Sophia and then there was less and less built on that scale after the empire was carved up by Arabs, Turks, Latins, Venetians and so on.

@GreatGregarious @sharghzadeh I love how you purposely use vague large strokes. The sacking of the city and decline is the direct responbility of the sacking by Latins. Whilst the empire as a whole was more done so by Turks. But we are talking specifically about the city, not the whole empire.

@EnesDemir035 @sharghzadeh Yeah, the latins were responsible for its decline too. Manazikert and 1204, both responsible. But Latin crusades don't mean that turkish settler colonialism in anatolia didn't likewise destroy eastern roman culture, economy, and society. They were attacked from east and west.

@world74989 @tashecon It can considering Turkey already produced American turbofan engines on license, so they have been made before. It seems the Guchan engine is literally just copied American engines. Those engine are not exactly top of the line anymore, and well within production capabilities.

I was at SAHA and the blades on this engine were not even turning. Turkiye is a serious global defence player - offering real solutions to Europe’s defence - but these MOD claims undermine the whole effort.
Timothy Ash@tashecon

This is complete fake news. This Turkish engine absolutely does not have this capability. Why does the Turkish MOD continue to put out these false claims which undermine all the incredible work being done by genuine innovators in the Turkish defence sector.

@Abdikarindahirr Somalia does not need to become one of Africa’s strongest forces. It just needs enough strength to enforce govermental authority and territorial integrity. These M48 tanks are old but still very usefull for that task.

Imagine somalia back on its feet again — it could become one of Africa’s strongest military forces. Our boys are training on tanks, drones, artillery, and much more. #Turkiye #Somalia #SNA

@calebmclambsura People seems to confuse Inonu with Ataturk lmao. So stupid. The Mountain Turk debacle also did not really happen until the 1980's during a nationalist military coup

Ataturk was a dishonorable man. Why? Let's take a look at some of his accomplishments: - Kurdish language banned in public life. - The label “Mountain Turks” used to deny Kurdish identity. - Kurdish Flags & Cultural Staples made Illegal. Violent & Racist. May he be forgotten.

Germany’s Chancellor Merz is now openly questioning the future of the joint Franco-German FCAS fighter jet project, and hints Berlin could walk away: This isn’t a political quarrel. We have a real problem in the requirement profile. The French need a nuclear-capable and carrier-capable aircraft… The Bundeswehr doesn’t need that for now. If we can’t solve that, then we can’t maintain the project. He also signaled Germany could look at other European partners if talks fail. Source: Politico

@mnchmbng @clashreport I can’t believe i am defending Germany but they absolutely do. Germany builds the nuclear weapons for France in the first place. They have some of the most well developed infrastructure and the biggest technology base in all of Europe. They just dit not apply it militarily

@clashreport This might surprise some people because it goes against their engineering reputation, but Germany doesn’t really have that much to offer in these programs. They’re well behind countries like France and Britain and put up a strop if they don’t get their way.

For your information : The equipment in question is the M-84 AC3 tank, and the training is taking place in Serbia, not Türkiye.

@EnesDemir035 @JABHA_Uk If Iran is less sovereign than Turkey 🚨 Then Why did Iranian Missiles land in Tel aviv and not turkey's missiles ? 🚨

@PerfectStratX @JABHA_Uk You literally do not have any sovereignty if foreigner fighter jets can easily penetrate your airspace because of your ancient absolute equipment. Where is the sovereignty not being able to protect yourself. You also use more foreign component on your drones then us.

@EnesDemir035 @JABHA_Uk No, Iran Has Hypersonic missiles not just ballistic. Fattah-2. 🚨 Drones are pretty good too in mass. 🚨 In air force they have the MiG-29 Fulcrums, & probably the newly acquired Su-35. 🚨 That's the price you pay for sovereignty & sanctions.
