That's why the Jewish children, even back then, we're not responsible for their sins. It was on the parents.

Abraham believed and it was counter to him as righteousness (Gen 15:6) After was given the sign of faith (circumcision). And commanded to give the sign to his kids. Just like Acts!

The question becomes: Why, in a greater sign, would you exclude a group (children) when they were included in the lesser sign? The greater now adds woman too

The surprise is that the gentiles are now apart of the promise and each new family grafted in is like a new Abraham. Abraham took everyone in his whole house and gave them the sign Gen 17:23

@farmingandJesus Infant baptism is one of the most eisogetical, arrogant, and prideful practices. Truly. And their argument is always insufferable. We should never assume something is ok for us to practice just because it’s ancient tradition or not explicitly forbidden in Scripture.

@farmingandJesus Anything that’s discontinued in the OT is explained in the NT. There is no explanation to exclude infants in the covenantal sign when they were included in the OT. Why would a greater sign (baptism) exclude something that a lesser sign (circumcision) includes? Act 2:39
