A driverless Tesla Robotaxi was spotted on the roads of Austin, Texas today. No one in the car. No safety driver. Fully autonomous. This is actually happening.

Tesla is at a critical inflection point. We need your vote ahead of our 2025 Annual Meeting on November 6. Tesla shareholders, the owners of our company, will soon receive their control numbers and voting instructions from their brokers. This will enable you to vote. We are asking you to vote with the Board’s recommendations on *all* proposals.   Tesla is on the precipice of another massive wave of transformational growth, as demonstrated by the unveiling of our Master Plan Part IV. If you believe, like us, that @ElonMusk is the CEO that can make this ambitious vision a reality, vote your shares. votetesla.com

As we can see, a classic microdick pattern is forming in $TSLA. This obviously PROVES the stock is going lower because technical analysis makes sense & can predict the future with 100% accuracy. That is why all technical analysts are septillionaires. Stocks astrology works! 😂

@jamesdouma I wonder if doing v. to grid after rush hour when the fleet starts to get back in position with the surplus would be worth it Discharge the remaining of the battery for the evening before getting a cheap recharge at night. Instead prepositioning every vehicle for a quick pickup

On yesterday's chat with Hans and Farzad I mentioned some stats about rideshare demand. I'll share a few details in a thread here. This is napkin math but it's based on real demand data and I think it illustrates the business potential.

@elonmusk has said that humanoid robots “will probably be worth significantly more than the car side of things long-term." Have you ever wondered how much more? Let’s take a look at Tesla’s humanoid robot opportunity. ... Introducing the Boundless Optimus Transformation at Scale "BOTS" Model for Tesla. This model only considers the potential value of Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot when made at scale. Note: I say "potential" - as this isn't a company valuation model and these are not predictions - the purpose is simply to show "what if" The BOTS model shows rather astounding what if values – as every bot produced, could add about $380,000 to Tesla’s market value. 100 million bots could add $38 trillion. If you think this sounds crazy, take a look at how I arrive at these numbers... The assumptions: 1) Tesla does not sell bots. Instead they lease them. This gives Tesla control over how people use them – after all we don’t want anyone building their own robot army! 2) The bots monthly lease cost varies based on their capabilities, wear and tear, and risk of damage, but the average monthly lease is $3,600. If the bot works 16 hours per day, that’s an effective hourly “labor” cost of only $7.50. 3) The BOTS model excludes all other revenue from Auto, FSD, Autonomy, Energy, Insurance, Supercharging, Service, and Dojo. 4) The cost to make a bot is $15,000, they last ten years, but annual maintenance and repair costs equal 12.5% or $1,875 per year, bringing the lifetime cost of each bot to $33,750. 5) There is a ROBot tax of 33% of bot revenue. As humanoid bots displace workers in factories and outside, governments are likely to lose a lot of tax revenue. In the US lost payroll taxes and taxes that support Social Security, Medicare and Unemployment Insurance programs could be partially recouped with a ROBot tax. 6) Net profit margins are 29%. Note: the government would generate more tax revenue from each BOT than Tesla makes in profit. In addition to lots of tax revenue, governments should love bots as they don’t have to pay them unemployment benefits, workers compensation claims, Social Security benefits or worry about healthcare costs. Bots could be a significant part of a solution to saving government entitlement programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Unemployment and welfare. Bots also help to address a shortage of labor, particularly in countries with low birth rates. 7) Investors give the company a P/E multiple of 30 for steady, growing, high margin earnings. None of the numbers in the model are discounted to the present as there are no implied time frames. The model's results: Each bot generates $43,200 in annual revenue and $12,700 in annual profit. At scale the potential annual profit to Tesla is impressive… One million bots = $12.7 billion in profit Ten million bots = $127 billion in profit One hundred million bots = $1.27 trillion in profit One billion bots = $12.7 trillion in profit Applying an earnings multiple of 30 gives us a BOTS model what-if-value of $380,000 for each bot. At scale the potential BOTS value to Tesla is gigantic… One million bots = $380 billion in added market value Ten million bots = $3.8 trillion in added market value One hundred million bots = $38 trillion in added market value One billion bots = $380 trillion in added market value At scale the annual tax receipts (ROBot tax + corporate income tax) to the government are rather substantial… One million bots = $18 billion in taxes Ten million bots = $180 billion in taxes One hundred million bots = $1.8 trillion in taxes One billion bots = $18 trillion in taxes As a reference, in 2022 the US government collected just under $5 trillion in tax revenue. If there were 300 million bots working in the US they would generate $5.4 trillion in tax revenue! Finally, from Elon, “I think we might exceed a one-to-one ratio of humanoid robots to humans. It's not even clear what an economy is at that point." Thank you to @jamesdouma and @GoingBallistic5 for your input and feedback. $tsla
