I remember a while back I said that if you make over $200k a a year and still mow your own lawn, you're doing it wrong.
Now that the average quote I'm getting for my lawn is $400 a month, I think I'm changing my mind on that statement.
What are folks running for lawnmowing equipment on a 1 acre mow these days?

@KingJB_1776 @Ethan__marshall @Charlygotyou I’ve been working this assembly job in a factory for about a year now for $18 an hour, plus a production bonus. It’s exactly 2,600 a month. I live with my parents still at 23, so I’m pretty lucky. But one guy I know at my work is paying 1,900 for rent. I can’t imagine it.

@Charlygotyou Gen Z and Gen A are extremely lazy - far less capable than previous generations. I would never hire Gen Z.

According to salary data from sources like PayScale, ACC Jobline, and Salary.com, the average US city attorney earns about $107k-$112k per year. That's roughly $52-$54 per hour (based on 2,080 full-time hours).
It varies widely by city size and location—small towns often pay less (or use contractors at $100-$300/hr), while big cities or high-cost areas can hit $150k+ ($70+/hr). The $200/hr in that Millersville case is premium contract rate; $15/hr is far below average.

@theePadilla @Kalshi folks with no degree are getting fucked in this job market because while the ones with degrees are getting jobs that may or may not require degrees, the ones with no degrees get no job.
