@jappleby @andybowers_ Yeah it wasn’t announced so it didn’t affect anything but people TRYING to win a bet…which is what they were doing every day before that mistake and every day after it. No one was paid out and no one is responsibke for a goofy who thought they had inside info from YouTube.

@andybowers_ It has to be matter because we live in the real world. $168 million has been bet on Kalshi regarding LeBron’s next move. Do I think that’s good for society? No. But it is happening, and it’s certainly a reason why extra care is important.

This is an all-time social media mistake. Quite literally affecting billions of dollars of industries between the NBA, gambling, & basketball merchandise. It actually gets 100x worse if LeBron DOESNT sign with the Heat.

Personally not breaking up a championship core & praying they can remake this chemistry with a whole ‘nother, brand new look in ‘27.

The Knicks cannot trade for Moussa Cissé now that his offer sheet is matched. However, they would be able to sign him if waived. The Mavericks now have 16 players on standard contracts. He is their only player not on a fully guaranteed salary for this season.

The 6-foot-11 center signed the Knicks sheet earlier Saturday but Dallas matches well before 48-hour Monday deadline.

I could argue that a player like Curry is more valuable than many, not all, CEOs or board members whose contributions can often be replaceable whereas a plyr like Curry’s is not

Ware is nice player & would be a great get but not at the cost of literally breaking up the Chip core cuz that’s exactly what ur proposing. No other Knicks guard actually replaced what he does.

He avg’d 14 mins the entire playoffs while Mikal avg 32. This is not a sentiment shared by the FO & staff that won the chip. Kal was an elite shut down wing defender.

Take a second and realize that if Dolan went into the second apron for Mitch, Knicks would have been the only team to do it. They are the Champions & an argument can be made for being the only one…but just maybe all of the Dolan heat over the decision was a little shortsighted.

Dallas matching the Knicks for Cisse is pure comedy. Traded a 1st for Gafford and gave him $54M, drafted Morez at #9, traded for 7ft Aldama. Cisse is a 4th-string center on this roster. Now they have to cut a guaranteed deal just to let him ride the bench. Make it make sense. 😂
