He's a very good fighter, maybe even a great one, but his recent performances suggest to me that he doesn't do too well against Yan over 5 rounds. Merab could be winnable in a rematch just via being way younger, though.
Still, I just can't envision him with the title.

@EGOISTwhale @seppaevil46 @sin_nl7 @FattyBot yep! also dunno how they prevent kara stuff either- like, back in earlier games you could shave 7 frames(!) of animation off uf+1+2 throws (eg lei jack) by jump cancelling, now you can't, and jin could never do it anyway. how did they fix it? why not jin? tekken! hooray!

Maybe when interrupting an animation blend mid animation (blockstun => neutral) it totally messes up the intended hitbox interaction.
Kara cancel from jump also plays the animation faster to make up for late startup.

Guys, I think this is a very important bug to do research into with the rest of the cast. I've tried already with other char's 1,2 , but can't replicate the same as it shows here. It very well may be that a lot of moves have this bug in the game. We just never had an explanation

@N0331Hello Depends on how Yan shows up to me. I am reluctant to see Yan's most recent performance which imo is a career best as his baseline.
If this is the baseline/what we can expect, then yes I would struggle to see him win vs Yan. Seems reluctant to do the striking now.

Dana White’s theory that fighters are less hungry when they are paid well seems instead to apply to himself and UFC leadership- the more money they make, the lazier their product gets. If they hadn’t banished all actual journalism someone should ask him about this

the Pereira Effect is approx PSize =x+(PHC/x) where x = size of the other person and PHC = the Pereira Hugeness Constant.
So he always looks bigger, but looks *less bigger* the larger they are. If he was standing next to Shaq they would look almost the same size.

not that I really care, but why not just redo the prequels? don't have the dead/aging problem of the og star wars cast, the prequels were a classic example of a good idea badly executed, whereas sequels didn't really *have* an idea apart from, like, "more star wars" I guess.

@AikidoBender yeah absolutely. that being said, I did *not* expect the fight to go downhill for him that bad. having one unwinnable-looking matchup in the division is bad, having two typically puts an end to any championship ambitions
