I ran into Pirate Software in the parking lot today. He had just got done unloading groceries into his car. As I walked up to say hello, he pushed his shopping cart directly into the middle of the road, nearly missing a car that was driving by. "Hey man, big fan, but are you going to put that shopping cart back?" I asked. "I don't know what you're talking about," he replied. "You pushed it directly into the middle of the road! You almost hit that car!" I said, confused. "That's not what happened," he answered. "Oh well, I swear I saw-" "No, you didn't see anything," he interrupted, "and the shopping cart is now exactly where it should be." "In the middle of the road? It might damage someone's car" I replied. "Listen to me. I've designed thousands of parking lots. If the person who designed this one knew ANYTHING, they would know that the cart return should go right there," he responded, pointing to the middle of the road. A car approached, swerving around the shopping cart. He pulled out his phone and started taking pictures of me. "Look man, I don't know what's going on, I'm just gonna go put the cart back for you," I said. "No you're not," he replied, getting into his car. He then proceeded to back up, hitting the shopping cart he left in the center of the road, sending it flying into a small sedan that was parked nearby. "You just scratched my car, dipshit," he said. He then proceeded to speed off. I am still confused at what happened.

Pirate went on to say that Blizzard are aware of the situation and that everything he sends will be read. It's worth noting that Blizzard are notorious for not acting on individual normal player reports so will be interesting to see if Pirates words follow through.

To those trying to character assassinate me online for a bad pull in Diremaul WoW Hardcore. This is Hardcore WoW and a lot is on the line when you step foot into a dungeon. Here is a light breakdown of the last 24 hours. Our party went the wrong way and overpulled multiple packs with a boss. The shotcaller made the call to run then went back on that call. During the run out another pack was pulled as we had opted to skip it previously which is never a good thing. Communication was completely broken throughout this and it was our second time failing the dungeon. Everyone played poorly and two people ultimately lost their characters for it. Each person in this group made mistakes including myself. I have never once said I was perfect in my play nor that I was a god gamer. I'm just an ex-Blizzard employee that has played mage for a long time. To pin that on a single person is absurd at best and if you're calling for death and cancellation over it you're too invested in this content in a very unhealthy way. If you're a creator engaging in this kind of behavior then eventually your content wave will end but the relationships you've sullied will be permanent. Hope it was worth it for you. To those trying to defend me. Don't worry about it. This too shall pass. Do not attack anyone else on my behalf. I've always hated that kind of behavior. I have no intention of stopping making things or not doing stuff as I already have been. Those who were banned will stay so. I've never liked that kind of knee-jerk reaction behavior in our community before and I will not be changing that now. For those that don't understand why they will stay banned. We had a ten hour long hate-raid over it live on Twitch. We had to ban nearly 4,000 accounts across all platforms and our moderators received death threats regularly throughout it all. People called for me to be killed both in-game and out of game. They tried to get me banned from Twitch, the guild, and WoW. They tried to make disparaging comments about our ferret rescue or that we somehow hurt animals. They tried to spread rumors saying I was convicted of felonies and many other things. The internet hate machine will not defeat me or the community that supports me. See you in WoW Hardcore tomorrow.

In an upcoming hotfix, we'll be making it so that Raging Spirits can only summon 5 Raging Spirits per cast at all levels. They will also no longer be able to be spawned from triggered Fire Skills. After this hotfix, we will be making adjustments to other Trigger Meta-Gems. In particular, we are going to be moving towards it being that you will not be able to apply very weak ailments from low level abilities to build energy. It is our intention that using low level skills with no investment is not an appropriate avenue to trigger copious amounts of high damage spells.

@RodFergusson funnily d4 itself doesnt follow the diablo formula. Level scaling, no build complexity, no balance, no set items. Its not even an ARPG at this point. Terraria, a 2d side scroller has more ARPG elements than D4

Feels like the genre of "ARPG" is starting to mean a lot of different things. Much like "Souls-like" and "Rogue-like", I wonder if we could normalize "Diablo-like" for ARPGs that follow the Diablo formula...

@AggrendWoW @kai_exii @Hindrexx Can you please rethink this? Was considering coming back to SoD as getting world buffa is easily the most annoying part, and losing them on progression is very frustrating. A 1 time use for 100 commendations seems absurd

@kai_exii @Hindrexx The intent is simply to give people an option to recover buffs after a wipe. It’s a feels bad reducer but it’s not meant to be completely replace world buffs permanently. Allowing you to walk around with all of those things on a stick with no limit would be pretty odd.
