It’s not even 8am and the theatre manager has already declared that the list is “too long” and asked us which patient we want to cancel! She hasn’t even asked whether the theatre team would stay a little later should the list overrun! This is completely unacceptable management!

An early morning case
Received a 10yr old female with progressive pigmentation changes on the face and trunk,allover the thighs, severe visual impairment with corneal opacities of both eyes ,the dyspigmentation started at 3yrs and progressively worsened at age 6 her young brother 3yrs old who had accompanied her reports similar lesions and family members report that both the father and mother's families reports to have relatives with similar leisons
The mother is asking me what is this disturbing my daughter and how are you going to treat it because we have tried on many treatments but no improvement

That Hoima-Masindi road section may need to be dualled. Traffic flow, for a local derby was slow. The Hoima citizens showed up. Many blown by the quality of the amenities on site. Ngubus couldn't be orderly, as always. A stress test if ever there was one for stadia in Africa
