There are mainly 2 types of h*ck : 1) 1 time hack 2) Seed phrase hack In the first case, when you visit any phishing website or app and that app/website willl popup a tx ( currently it's more easier for the bad actors cuz they can now do multiple calls with single signature on EIP7702 supported chain), so you will think that this tx is harmless and will sign the tx. But by doing this, you actually approved all the available tokens (can be multiple tokens) on that network to h*ckers contract. And hacker can sweep all the available ERC20 tokens instantly (or later), and here you need to revoke that hacker contract from your tokens approval. If you don't revoke here, in this case, whenever you deposit those tokens in your wallet, it will be drained instantly. So yeah here you need to do revoke. And this is one time, after revoking, you will not face any other issues, in this case, your gas token will not be drained instantly instead it will drain ERC20 tokens. 2) Seed Phrase Compromised Most ppl are affected by this type of hack. If you your wallet's private key or seed phrase get leaked, then there is nothing to do with revoking. You can't do anything here. Make sure to check whether your whole system is compromised or not, if yes then, make sure to reset your system otherwise if you create a new wallet, that will be even compromised instantly. How to understand if you get hacked or not? - Send a small amount of gas fee in that wallet which you suspect as compromised, if gas fee is not drained means you are safe (90%) Be safe ❤️ in web3 !!

In March 2023, I bought a used Google Pixel 5a to test @freedomfactory. I tinkered with it, broke my phone, and bugged @mhaas_eth on Discord for help.
