I don't know about AI replacing radiologists, but 100% of Wilhelm's code is written by AI. Tools used: @AnthropicAI 's Claude 4 Sonnet and @googleaidevs 's Gemini 2.5 Pro in @cursor_ai What would have taken a team of programmers just a couple years back was done by a radiologist with zero coding experience prior to 2025. That does not mean trusting the code blindly. Especially for healthcare AI apps where robust security and safe programming practices are paramount. Claude and Gemini taught me how to code, what a frontend and backend is, how APIs work, what are auths and databases, what encryption and secure programming practices mean, how to program LLMs to act as agents and how to wire it all together to build functioning software. Using the "Ask" mode in Cursor rather than "Agent". With Agent you really don't learn programming and the AI is likely to break something when your app becomes more complex. Want to learn to build AI apps? Just download Cursor or VS Code and ask Claude 4 Sonnet and Gemini in it how to build what you want to build. Want to train an AI model on your own collection of complex neuro MRIs? Open Google Colab and ask Gemini how to do it, it will guide you step by step. When the price of intelligence becomes zero, it is agency and motivation that matter.
